My four-year-old has just discovered the excitement of the Where's Waldo books. This is the second book he's asked for, and it's just as fun as the first book! This one has Waldo and his friends hiding in various points in time (Pyramids, Viking Age, etc.). I thought that it might be easier to find a guy in a red and white striped shirt in the middle of a group of people wearing ancient clothes, but this book turned out to be more challenging than the first!We've been using this book to help our son calm down before bed. Its a fun challenge for him, and after about 10 minutes he gets tired and is ready to get in his bed and tuck in for sleep. For any child who has trouble winding down before bedtime, I would definitely recommend this book!

Great gift for young children, great condition and came fast

There are hours of entertainment in this book, literally from cover to cover! My four year old is excited every time he finds a character or object, and it’s a perfect quiet time activity for him. Where’s Waldo is a classic! I will be getting more of these!

The price was good, I didn’t read the description well so I was disappointed it was not hardcover. That is my fault. It’s still always fun to look for Waldo. Of course with any paperback, you will get creases in the book. But it came in perfect condition.

Perfect for book character day at school

WHERE’S WALDO? books are fun and challenging search and find books. The illustrations are detailed and colorful. The search is aided by checklists in the back of the books where one can see how many of the objects or characters have been spotted. In the 20+ years since these books were published, we have become more culturally sensitive/aware and some of the stereotypical representations are a bit cringe worthy. For example, in one scene with many different types of boats on the ocean, there is a canoe with Native Americans with “war paint” and single and multiple feathered headdresses. At the time I’m sure the intent was humorous. Now such scenes hit a sour note. This is not necessarily reason to not have fun with these books. It can provide teachable moments to illustrate how we grow and change (“When you know better, you do better”). I purchased this book for a family with members ages 6 to 60+.

i am still looking for him

Bought this as a Christmas gift. It’s the exact same book from my childhood and it turns out the reason I can’t remember anything now is because I have saved in my memory where Waldo is on those pages. This made me look amazing to the kids I gave it to. They were in awe of my skills. Worth it.

I remember getting these for Xmas when I was a kid. Always a good way to pass the time and get of the screen. Got this for the kids for Xmas and what can I say, great book just like always. Good quality. They have more then one Waldo to find now on every page which is good.

I always play this book with my 2 year old son. He loves it and is really good at finding Waldo. Now I have also bought the other editions.

Great selection of books in this one box. My 5 year old daughter loves them! Keeps her quiet for ages, some are quite tricky so a lovely activity that we can do together
