What is the maximum extension height?

i am 5'10" and with a straight spotting scope mounted to this tripod, it is to tall for me to see through the scope. i would say around 60 inches at full extension of the tripod, excluding the center section.

Does it reflect any sunlight, from being so light in color?

No the paint finish does not reflect sunlight. The OD green color has a non glossy satin finish. -Mike

How much weight can the load bearing hook hold?

I've never maxed it out, but I hung a pack on it that had a full nalgene, about 250 rounds of 6.5, a bipod, a 9mm pistol and a few boxes of ammo and whatever else I had left in there from my previous range trips. I'm guessing it was at least 35 lbs and it was a non issue. I'm sure it can go much heavier than that. I don't have any affiliation with these guys but this thing is a tank.
