Q: does each speaker connect to the sound source separately or does one connect to the source and then the second speaker daisychain to that ?

One connection from the source to the primary speaker and then a connecting wire from this primary speaker to the other speaker

Q: how long is the cable that links the two speakers? Is it extendable?

Hi, it's a 5 pin din connection so you could essentially get any length but I wouldn't recommend more than 4 metres. I believe the standard connection cable between master and slave speakers is 2 metres.

Q: How much does each individual speaker weigh, and what are the dimensions?

The speaker dimensions are: 342mm High 198mm Wide 276mm Deep They weigh 8.5kg each Incidentally, these speakers are excellent!

Q: Do these need amplifier?

No, the amp is built into the speakers
