Nice quality made air filter. Fits the car and does what it is supposed to do! Easy to install, don't need much mechanical know how. Keeps airflow going through the engine!

Fit's a 2013 Subaru Outback perfectly. Fit and finish looks good. Will probably buy this one again when it's time.

Have been using these in our 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i for years. Way cheaper than the dealer filters and the fit is great. I'll keep using them!

The filter works as it should. i have used these FRAM filters for years. the reason i gave it 1 less star is they are removing material to save on cost. the picture shows there are fewer baffles (less surface area for air to pass through). just another example of the less product and increased price. anyway the filter still works, i just wanted to make a note of that so you can make an informed decision.

Easy to install

Did not fit my 2019 Outback. Not going to give a bad review because it is a good product, but beware if you have a 2015-2019 Outback as mine did not fit.

We opt for a more frequent replacement cycle, subscribing to an autoship every six months rather than the advertised 12 months or 12,000 miles. This schedule suits our car's demands perfectly, especially since my husband is keen on regular maintenance. True enough, by the six-month mark, the filter is ready for a swap, usually looking its duty by then. I stick to a three-month interval for oil changes and, while the filter still looks serviceable at that point, the combined renewal of both oil and air filter every half-year leaves our Outback feeling rejuvenated. Besides the noticeable boost in performance post-maintenance, the cost-effectiveness of these filters is a win. Doing it ourselves saves a good chunk of change compared to having it replaced during an oil change service. Plus, it's a straightforward task that doesn't take much time or effort. Overall, we're very happy with the FRAM filters. They're a budget-friendly, easy-to-manage choice that keeps our Subaru in top-notch condition.
