Amazing tool, great power for a 12 volt, there are times when nothing else will do the job. Had mine for 3 years and bought 2 more for my sons.

I just purchased the 12v Bosch flexi click package, brushed. I have a 15yr old 18v makita brushed drill with hammer drill setting. Hardly used that setting. That drill weighs 5lb! I have a number of makita 18v tools and they’re great. Man, have things changed though! This Bosch drill weighs approx 2lbs depending on attachment. It feels great in my hand, I can feel how smooth and quiet the motor is. The attachments work as advertised. It’s amazingly compact and has lots of torque to accomplish 90% of normal work. My dilemma was should I go brushless or brushed. Brushless model is considerably more expensive but there’s more to the story. Brushed drills are easier to operate at very slow rpm on speed #1 - ie: starting a drill hole or starting a screw. Brushes are cheap and easy to install by a DIY’R but you may never need to replace them. You might say brushless drills are a bit twitchy, jumpy, not sure how to explain that! Anyway, I love good tools and Bosch tools are exceptional. I have this drill, a Bosch corded 5” orbital sander, and Bosch FL12 work light. I would not hesitate to buy them all again.

I love this Bosch Flexiclick multi-head drill/screw driver. I find it to have a very nice feel, and each snap-in piece goes in solid (though a little tight, I do find it sometimes takes a few seconds to get it just right before a piece slides into place, and it can be a little resistant to pulling the head out to allow rotating the right-angle and offset adapters). Note that unlike some reviewers, I have no issues with rotating and setting the adapters in each of the 16 positions (every 22.5 degrees), not just 90 degrees, for all pieces, including the right-angle and offset adapters. The gearing in this driver is somehow smoother than my older DeWalt or Porter Cable drivers, so I now tend to reach for this one when driving screws (easier speed control). It may not have quite as much power for driving deep screws, but that has only happened a couple of times and I just switched to my DeWalt for a second to finish it off. It does fit my hand, though I have large hands and can see where some people might find it a bit large to wrap their hand around. Update: I've had it over 1.5 years now and its working great and is my main screw driver. Note that though I use it often, I just do projects around the house and RV, so I can't speak to its durability for daily hard use like a professional would.

This is a pretty amazing deal - compare the cost of buying one battery + charger separately, it's about the same as this kit. Obviously this item is designed to get you into the Bosh 12V system, which is no terrible thing. This is probably a very good first purchase. While the drill is not up to the brushless GSR12V-300FC (also compatible available with these accessories), it's good enough. In fact is probably about the equal of one of my ancient Milwaukee 18V non-brushless units from over ten years ago - batteries, tools and even motors have come a long way. The chuck is good, closing down to grip even sub-1mm drill bits and opening up to 10mm - but I don't know if you want to be using large drill bits in this little drill, it probably has the power to get through a few holes but you may not have the grip with the small body of this drill. The light is handy, and works well. The accessories are easy to click on and off and will get you into tight or offset spots with ease. I would have liked to see an accessory mount (as the GSR12V-300FC has) on the body to attach a belt clip or bit holder. 3D printing will maybe solve that problem though there are not many places that a holder could grip onto without obscuring essential controls or vent holes. I have about 6 Bosch 12V tools now and I'm pretty impressed - in fact I bought this one because two extra batteries is handy, and I needed an extra charger. Free drill and accessories, effectively!

I am a DIY enthusiastic person. I had 2 different brands of impact and hammer drills set but they are all regular size drills. When I see this drill, I am not paying too much attention to it. Then I see a set from my colleague, I start to think about why I need this. After a period of time, I am telling myself I should not waste money on my third set for no reason. However, the promotion price from amazon drew my attention again. I eventually bought it and test it. After couple small project using it, I decide to do this review. I really like it. It is lighter and smaller than my drill sets. When u work at restricted area with limited room and ceiling or high height work, this drill definitely has an advantage over any regular drill. It is easy to hold and carry. the switchable concept is invincible. No need to carry two drills anymore and easy to switch amongs different caulks. Right angle and offset caulks are big selling points too. One small bag pretty much carry everything. I put a bits box in the bag instead of charger to make it more comprehensive with pretty much everything I need in one single bag. The whole set is solid built and good quality. If really want me to criticize, I will say the power is not too high but good enough for most DIY project. The price (even regular price) is quite competitive considering it comes with 2 batteries and different caulks. Highly recommend this to any persons for a new drill or second or third set. :)
