These reusable, silicone sleeves form a tighter seal than flex sleeves while holding the earphones firmly in place. Review: most comfortable fit, better isolation - I don't know why Shure doesn't provide at least 1 pair of the EA306 triple-flange sleeves with their products. In short, they provide the most comfortable fit and best sound isolation. We own a pair of E3C's and E5C's. I would recommend them more for the E5C's than the E3Cs and I'll tell you why. The E5C is much larger in your ear and the stem that comes out from them is proportionatly shorter than the stem comming out of the E3Cs. I liked the foam inserts for the E3C. With the E5C, the triple flange provides a more comfortable fit and a better seal in the ear which means better sound! I had to really take a chance when I bought these - being that I paid over $500 for the E5Cs, I was reluctant to spend the $10 for the sleeves but am glad that I did. They do what they are designed to do. I was very pleased with the isolation and greater sound. Before, I used the foam sleeves with the E5Cs and found myself trying to push them further in my ears to hear the sound better! These give the E5cs a better, more stable fit in the ear which is also more comfortable. I was a bit disappointed with the E5C ear buds until I purchased these sleeves. I highly recommend them and wish Shure would consider adding a pair of these to the 12 ear pieces that come with the E5Cs. Review: Game Changer - Exactly what I needed for my Shure Se215. I could never find a foam noise blocking tip I thought was comfortable. They blocked noise but I wouldn’t want to wear them. These are great. They work and I can leave them in. Only downside is you’ll go through them faster than the foam ones. Luckily these are way cheaper, and it’s probably better to change them out more often anyway. Best decision I’ve made in a while.

These buds are great
I purchased the SE210 and over a few weeks, I tried all the tips and all the sizes. I kept having problems getting a good seal, and the tips would work lose as I hit the gym. Then I tried these tiple flange. At first, they felt funny and when I pushed them in, the flanges would would sort of flip over and essentially block all sound. I was getting frustrated thinking the SE210 was not as good a bud as the E2C. When I first looked in the mirrow, they seemed to stick far out of the ear. Then I read a review that helped me. Since the flange was sticking out of the ear so far, I clipped off the third flange. That helped a lot. Then I read another article about getting each tip wet before inserting. (a little saliva will work fine) I next wet each tip before inserting, and each bud slid right in. No need to pull on the ear or any other odd trick. Once you get the flange bud in and drape wire behind the ear, the seal is great and the sound is excellent. I just returned from a long flight on a small jet carrier and I had the buds in from take off to landing. The engine roar was totally blocked and I had no problems getting excellent bass from jazz or rock music. I think users that state they have a problem just don't take the time to properly insert or prepare these tips. They might create a little soreness in the ear, but I cannot imagine a better bud or tip. I just wish these fit my E2C. If you have any Shure buds these tips will fit, I think these flange tips will end up as your preference. They don't deteriorate as the foam ones do. They are softer than the silicon tips, and they won't fall out of the ear as the rubber tips tend to do when you perspire.

Shure Sleeves
I read customer reviews and brought the Shure triple flange sleeves. I was shocked and disappointed that the ear sleeves doesn't block out the ambient noise; poor noise isolation. In addition, they don't fit comfortable in my ear. I believe the best sleeves for noise isolation is the Shure gray rubber sleeves. Learn and live.

Don't believe the hype
After reading all the rave reviews for these I thought I just had to have them. When they arrived I anxiously tore the package open expecting to hear a big difference in sound. What I found was an awkwardly big earbud sleve that was a very stiff rubber (almost plasticy)They did not feel right in my ears at all, and the sound was lacking. Maybe it's just my ears but I find that the original gray rubber sleves that my e3s came with is far superior to these in both comfort and sound.

Careful, you may not receive EA306 flanges
Ordered from Audio Equip and received EATFL1-6 flanges instead in different packaging than shown in the picture. EATFL1-6 is Shure's current triple flange, but it doesn't seem like quite the same material as my old EA306s from a couple of years ago. The plastic is more opaque and is whiter, and they're a different size--unfortunately, not a good one for me, even after double-flange modding. Three stars is for the product I received. They don't seal well, and they're uncomfortable. For reference, I wear a medium in other earphone sleeves (other Shures, Klipsch, Sony, etc.) Normally, I'd strictly review the product ordered, assuming I ever got it, and treat the rest as a shipment mistake. However, this is the only listing I've seen with EA306s for sale that doesn't clarify they're shipping EATFL1-6s instead, and I bought through it specifically to not get EATFL1-6s. If that's your aim too, you'll probably simply be out of luck. Don't bother.

lavable mais le seul problème est de les empêcher de jaunir sous l'action du cerumen, je n'ai pas trouvé de bon moyen.

These are great. They fit well to the 'phones, fit well in your ear, allow all the bass to come through, and isolate just about the right level of environment noise. The 'sticky-out' ends that slip over the 'phones can be cut back a little so that the overall protrusion length is less. The only problem? You can only get them in white... I looked high and low for black/dark grey. We all know the problem with white sleeves is that they can very quickly go yellow - not pleasant when they're hanging on your chest for all to see !!

J'ai acheté ces embouts à cause de la marque. Ils n'ont rien de plus que des embouts sans marque...je suis donc un peu déçu, ils n'ont rien d'exceptionnel

The E4c headphones come with a plethora of sleeves, but this is the only style that sticks into my ears without falling out. Even after a 90 minute run! They are also fantastic at blocking out extraneous noise. Admittedly, they look like something out of a sci-fi movie - and not ones of the good guys either - but they do the job just fine. And if you're getting these, you already now how marvellous the headphones are.

I have tried a number of types of ear plugs and have found some to be quite sore after an extended period of listening. These have been the most comfortable for me as I have quite small ears. I do tend to cut the sleeve of these which enhances the base somewhat. As I use Shure 535s I find that the range of sound is more impressive with even this small change. It also helps balance the actual weight of the earphones in the ear channel. I have thought of getting custom mad fittings from ACS but the cost is more prohibitive.
