It works for my sega genesis
Thank you so much! i lost my Sega Genesis 2 cord When I moved Six years ago. i had this sega genesis for over 30 years, and I haven't played it for over 20 years now. It is 2026 and I am playing sega once again I am playing Scooby-Doo. reminiscing about the good days

Came early good quality
Came a little early, didnt help my sega genesis tho,it has something else wrong with it unfortunately, which sux because it was my Mom's console back in the day.

It worked with my older model 1 Sega Genesis
Overall it is fine. It worked and didn't have any problems. The insulation is on the thin side and the connectors aren't gold plated but it was in line with what I was expecting for $8. This is the 5-pin cable, not the 8-pin cable. It provides video and mono audio, which is all the older model Genesis systems support from that connector anyway. It will not work at all on newer models that expect an 8-pin cable. On the older models, if you want stereo audio output have to get your sound from the headphone jack on the front of the console. This cable will also not work with other 5-pin video ports on other systems. The Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit computers, or the TI-99 for example. They use the same connector but the pins carry different signals and they don't match up.

Great cable
My genesis r/f unit was going bad ..had it since 1989 when I got my system for Christmas .. all the years of gaming greatness . I thought I’d upgrade to an A/V cable and see .. wow ! The colors really pop ..everything is so vibrant, really crisp , and the sounds is great .. it’s like my sega Genesis is new all over again … Great cable … worth the price .. I’m very satisfied..

It's a wire. It works. It's way better than coax.
15 stars. Works better than expected, pairs well with my L/R stereo to headphone on my Genesis type 1. First two pictures autoflash went off because screen was so dim and staticky with coax. The rest are with this cable and same as my eyes, the camera could focus on the screen image way better.

Con este cable he conseguido hacer funcionar mi vieja megadrive II que tenia el original estropeado,además va directa al AV y no hay necesidad de cambiar la smart tv a modo de búsqueda analogico. Mejora la calidad de imagen en este tipo de tv modernas.
