Safety first
Having hip replacement and have a very active fur baby that likes to jump all over my lap.. thought this would help with the padding of my hip in case of one of those accidental jumps one least expected fits well and padding is working so far haven’t had that long to say how well it will hold up

Excellent! Watch sizing.
This is brilliant (also the most researched brand of hip protector out there - rates very very high). I got the panty garment one first, same brand, and I like that too, but it's a bit of hassle taking it down in the bathroom and having to remove clothing to take it off. I was for some reason skeptical of this one but it's amazing - super lightweight, fastened with a simple velcro band and for me extremely comfortable. Easy to wear over clothing at home and as easy to put it on and off under. Very easy to love freely in it. If you have severe osteoporosis in hips and femur it's a lot of peace of mind. BUT as others have said, watch the sizing! I'm 5'3 and 115 pounds, tiny, but carry more weight in the hips, measure 38.5". That the deciding line between small and medium and very glad I went for the latter. It's pretty much a perfect fit and places the pad right where it needs to be. if I were a few inches broader it wouldn't reach. But I don't think there's a remotely affordable better brand out there. I don't get complaints about quality - it seems very well made to me, though maybe the velcro will fail after a while and need to be replaced, dunno, seems strong me.

Overpriced and seemed used / old
Ordered this for my grandma, and upon opening the box I knew I couldn’t give it to her. The package was old and wrinkled, and the belt seemed worn.

Helping my 87 yr old Father
My 87 yr old father fell in May, June and July and broke his left hip 3 times. The Friday before Thanksgiving he fell and broke his right hip. I ordered these hip pads and wondered if he would wear them. The answer is yes! He wears them daily and they make him feel more secure. Note* I think they run a little small, ordered the small the first time and it was too small, returned the small and ordered the larger size and it works great. Hopefully he won’t fall again, if he does, I hope these protect his hip from being broken or fractured.

This product is based on a good concept
It is a good concept and I am sure there is a market for it. But it is not worth 100 bucks.
