Works great. Simple to use with the provided instructions. I was able to track down a charging issue that I had with my Toro Time Cutter mower with this multimeter and the help of YouTube. I would recommend this item.

I have had a lot of cheap multimeters. They were hard to read and harder to really understand the settings and I never could figure them out the 3-4 times a year I might need to use one. This meter is much better and perfect for me for basic work around the house. As my first use for this meter, I wanted to test a AC unit capacitor to see if it was bad. This meter has that setting and worked great confirming it was bad, so I replaced the capacitor myself for $20 bucks vs a $200+ AC repairman! The meter is good size, about the size of your hand. Display is large and easy to read. Backlight display is really bright. It has a "contact" voltage setting. Hold it to an outlet/switch or power cord and it will show bars if it detects power. Can test 120 volts, car battery or quickly all small battery sizes. Also has a beeper for test continuity/broken wires etc. . To me it has everything the "average joe homeowner" needs, is not overly complex and easy to understand settings. I thought about spending more, but after getting this for under $20 bucks, this was the best decision and best value. Does everything I will ever need with easy to read and understand settings. There are a lot of reviews on YT that show you have to use this model and shows it has good accuracy as well. I am happy with it.

Nice meter for the price, better than HF. Only reason for 4 stars, the alligator clips are worthless because of the poor mechanical connection it uses. Looks to me that they used same connection method that you use to connect to crimp to a wire.

I've had this VOM for 3+ years and it works great. I wanted something that measured capacitance so I could check the start capacitor for my outside AC unit (and save big bucks by avoiding a service call). I had a minor issue and the Customer Service (Yolanda) was incredibly responsive. That alone would have me buy AstroiAI products going forward!

Exactly as described - a digital multimeter with multiple functions. Not having used it a lot yet, I have not come up against any issues or faults, but it serves the purpose of the old analog multimeter from 30 years ago (that I lost).

Fully covers my needs and really well built for a very low price. But this is coming from a hobby user so can't say anything for professional use. Would personally say this is a perfect entry level multimeter primarely because it does exactly what it needs to do for a rather small investment. The instructions are sadly entirely in German though but it hardly matters since multimeters all use about the same symbols so a quick google search and you can find perfect English guides that applies to this product.

It uses cheap AA batteries. Other multimeters use more expensive 9V batteries.
