Electric Meter Security Seal Wire Padlock Grey Pack of 10

The plastic base was different than Centerpoint but the wire was a match. Removed the wire and inserted it into the original base and your secret is safe.

Our 35 year old electric meter box was badly in need of a paint job. It was rusty and paint was flaking off. The joint between the box cover and the box base was a mess. The only way to do it right was to cut the electric company's wire padlock, remove the cover, scrape/clean, and repaint. I used one of these padlocks to "reseal" the box. I dipped the plastic part into the paint so it matches the newly painted box/cover. Painted the latch red. Great product.

I recently had a genelink unit which required the electrician to remove the old seal. The electrician just put the old cut seal back on. Then the hunt began. I didn't want to leave the meter "unlocked" lets say so I started searching for a replacement seal. Most that I found were in bags of 50 or more. Didn't need that many. Found this 10 piece bag which is just what I needed for $6.99. Placed the seal on, pushed it in and it works as well the original from the electric company. The grey matches the meter box which is even better. Never liked the clear plastic ones. Received the seals in a couple days. Highly recommended.

Easy install I used them for a couple outside receptacles and emergency shut offs These can be twisted off in the time of need for shut off, while keeping people out that should not be in them

Great but unfortunately you can't replace a Electrical meter seal since the colors are different from PGE or most otherUtilities companies. PGE was nice and replace my seal cheerfully. The said they often fall off due to direct sun cracking the plastic. These would be good tamper seals for your own use.

Received quickly and the padlocks seem to have a secure locking mechanism.

Exactly what you'd expect, solid construction. These helped lock the utility boxes around my house.
