Silver Fluoride Toothpaste 3.4oz Twin Pack

As a senior citizen, I try to take care of my teeth and have run the gamut of different toothpaste brands over the years. Recently, when I changed to a new dental provider, I began hearing recommendations about a toothpaste product that most folks have never heard about. And that is the "CloSYS" brand. When I began asking questions - both to my dental hygienist and the dentist - I was surprised to hear of the wonderful comments they provided, along with their strong recommendations to use this product. So I began to research who carried the brand and at what prices. At first - before I even tried Amazon - I was astonished to see the ridiculously high prices (some sites outrageously so) for CloSYS products. I had almost given up when I looked it up on Amazon - and there was the full line of CloSYS products, priced a good 3-5 times less expensive (and reasonable) than all the other limited stores I checked. So needless to say I ordered the CloSYS silver flouride toothpaste on Amazon, which is formulated for folks over 55. I couldn't wait to try it and when it arrived, I dove right in. To begin with, the CloSYS flouride silver version is a lighter formulation and what I liked about it was the fact that when you were done brushing, I didn't have any remaining white lines about the mouth. You know the deal - at times while brushing heavy, when you're done (and in a hurry) you may still have white toothpaste residue around the mouth and if you don't catch it and wipe it off, you're left looking like a clown. The nice thing about the "silver" version of this toothpaste, it is a lighter formulation, but still strong enough in the the right ingredients to do the job. So now I'm hooked on this toothpaste. Something else I never realized is that many toothpaste formulations can actually wind up leaving a light stain over a period of time (the effect of certain ingredients on the teeth for long periods of time). My dental providers specifically mentioned that CloSYS does not stain the teeth with long-term usage. With previous toothpaste formulations like some of the gum protection formulas (which I used for years), I noticed that my teeth would lose their white luster after awhile. I had always thought it was just due to my age, but when the dental hygienist cleaned my teeth, she even mentioned that some toothpaste formulations will stain, and she got rid of the stains on my teeth - most of which she attributed to the use of some other toothpaste brands. So yes, I recommend these more difficult-to-find CloSYS products. I say look no further than Amazon for the very best prices (again, some sites were ridiculous in what they wanted, even some very well known large store names). Amazon is the best outlet for this brand of toothpaste. Highly recommended and now a committed customer!

I have suffered with dry mouth for about 10 years. every toothpaste I tried not only aggravated the dryness, they stung the skin inside my mouth. My daughter recommended this toothpaste so I tried it and although it did sting some in the beginning, I have been able to use it now without pain. It seems it may be helping with the dry mouth as it has eased some since I have started using this toothpaste.

I love this toothpaste. While it is pricey, it is more than worth it because it works and being sold on Amazon makes it convenient because it is no longer sold in stores. I find it highly effective for anyone who may experience tarte breath. I have been using it for years after it was first introduced to me by my local dentist. Best recommendation ever! Highly recommend.

Good toothpaste. Flavor is mild and not over powering. Do not like super minty toothpaste and this brand fits the bill.

Great toothpaste,,, BUT in December 2024 it was $14.94, today same two pack is $33.58, NO WAY. Edit: I emailed Closys about this crazy price increase. Their polite statement is they do not control the prices on Amazon. They have not changed their prices. So Amazon? Edit: NOW $43.28 got two little tubes. Insane.
