This is a game changer. I hated to change the blades in my other rotary cutters. This helps my fabric cutting become as pleasure. So easy to change the blades. Handle is easy to grip. Because I can change the blades more frequently, my fabric cuts are sharper. Worth every penny!

I just switched from a fiskars rotary blade after watching someone cutting fabric online using this Olfa 45. Why did I ever wait to change?! If your a quilter or cut a lot of fabric dont hesitate!! Cuts beautifully with no fraying. Sturdy connection between blade and handle. My fiskars was always falling off. Cuts through many layers ( 4 -6) like butter. I started with the 45mm and now have both the 45mm and 28mm. Super easy to swap out new blades.

I had recently purchased this brand and style of rotary cutter when I was away from home visiting at a home where there wasn’t even a needle and thread available much less a decent cutting tool! I am so happy that This is the one that was grabbed in a hurry off the wall where about a dozen different brands, Size and styles were displayed. I hadn’t noticed the one step blade change part of the packaging. I love it! It is easy to handles d fits comfortably in my left hand and vainest the edge of my ruler.I don’t know what I do wrong but when I change out the blade on any of the numerous rotary cutters I have acquired over the years they always end up with a glitch , I will try every order for the blade and the screw thingy and the outside and on both sides of the cutter but it never works with out the glitch. Sounds silly I know but it is really frustrating and time consuming and I dread having to change the blade. I saw the one step on the instruction and thought “ well this is different, just hope it really is that easy AND IT WAS. I was shocked thrilled and delighted when I found that it truly is a one step process and glitch-less! II immediately ordered a second unit sent to my home! I left the original in the sewing kit I assembled while I was staying at the house , since it belongs to a family member I know I will be going back. It at least now I will be able to do whatever sewing and crafting I want! I recommend that you try this brand and model of rotary blade cutter. It weighs less than most others! Is comfortable to use in either the left or right hand and of course is quick and easy to change out the blades

Olfa is my cutter of choice for cutting fabric. It is comfortable to hold in your hand. Another great feature is how quickly the blade can be changed.

I have arthritis in my right hand, they tell me I need surgery. Cutting with classic scissors can leave me in intense pain if I cut too long. This rotary cutter was an answer to a prayer. So much more precise than scissors, faster, and best of all - zero pain. Zero. Easy to use, smooth mechanism to open/shut/change blade. Very happy! (Remember you need a cutting mat, too, because this is razor blade sharp, or else it will cut right thru whatever you put it on)

Purchased this for my elderly mother who does ALOT!!! of sewing and quilting. Her old rotary was getting work and loose no matter how much I tightened it down. She loves this one, fits her hand better and is much easier for her to open and close. Super easy blade change to, not nut to loosen, just slide the holder up, and replace the blade, slide the holder back down until it snaps in place, super easy but stoll very secure, and honestly, it's a great improvement in design. Very good quality feel and is secure in your hand. Some other rotaries feel a bit flimsy and cheap, not this one, very nice quality.

These cutters work wonderful. I am very happy with them. They feel good in my hand and cut very nicely.

Si te estás iniciando como yo en los trabajos con cuero es una herramienta imprescindible para realizar cortes limpios y precisos. Requiere práctica para sacarle todo el rendimiento, sobre todo para los cortes curvos y los que necesitan cierto ángulo en el perfil del cuero. Fijar bien el patrón a la mesa con su correspondiente base de corte y una regla metálica o plantilla para curvas ayudan bastante. El filo es tremendo y hay que acordarse de bloquear la hoja cuando no se usa. Los recambios originales de Olfa son caros aunque hay marcas secundarias más baratas que no están mal, y el sistema de sustitución de la hoja circular es bastante sencillo teniendo cuidado de no cortarse. Habrá que ver la longevidad del filo en función del uso. Salud
