Good as a gift!
This is excellent quality for bird watching! After doing some research as a gift for a bird-lover, I truly believe this is the best you can get for the price. National Geographic products tend to hold up really well and the appearance of the binoculars are sleek and nice. Great starter binoculars!

The optics are very blurry and to be honest a much lesser in price binoculars I have are better than this. If you have fifteen dollars, you can definitely get one without paying double for the one listed here by national geographic. Skip this one folks.
