The customer service of EarFun is likely the best I have ever encountered.
NOTE: This is an addendum to my initial review. When I had a problem, EarFun's customer service contacted me to see what they could do. As I had already returned the earbuds, I said that there wasn't much they could do for me. They responded by asking how they could improve their product. I made suggestions, and over a conversation string consisting of 20 send-and-response emails (I just counted them) from them, they seemed truly interested in my feedback. They said they would refer my feedback to their engineers, and I believed them! Again, I'm shocked by how attentive their customer service is.My original review below is unchanged. I wasn't happy with the buds, but through their attentive and sincere (extraordinary in the world today) customer service, they have a loyal fan and customer in me, as long as their customer service AND sound quality remains great!.....The main problems - 1. Getting them out of the case. 2. The way they connect. 3. Their inability to stay securely in your ears while talking, walking, or running, which compromises the sound quality.1. The magnets in the case are so strong that the earbuds are almost impossible to take out. The combination of the finish on the earbuds and the strength of the magnets in the case make for an incredibly frustrating experience. I wish I had seen the many reviews that mention the problem before I purchased them.2. I use earbuds to listen to music and to make and receive calls. When working, I don't always have them in my ears, so they sit in the case. If the case lid is open, they pair with my phone without a problem. Unfortunately, that means that if a call or message comes in, you won't be able to tell unless you're looking at the phone. The solution? You have to leave the case closed. With a message, that's not a problem. But with a call, if you want to use the earbuds to answer the call, you have to open the case, then TRY to get them out of the case before the call goes to voicemail. Again, due to the strength of the magnets, getting them out of the case is extremely frustrating. You can answer the call without using the earbuds, but isn't one of the benefits of wireless the ability to be hands-free while on the phone? If you want to use the earbuds on the call, the only somewhat workable solution is to answer the call by putting the phone up to your ear, then, while you're speaking to friends, clients, etc., tell the person you're on the phone with to "Hold on while I connect my Bluetooth." With clients, it's unprofessional on both ends. With friends, it's irritating on both ends. Getting the buds out may take a considerable amount of time so you might just give up and use phone held to your ear, leaving one hand free instead of two, negating one of the reasons you bought them in the first place.3. They get loose in your ears. I've tried every pair of gels included with the earbuds. None would stay securely in my ears. Not only do they easily work loose when running or walking, they come loose while you're chewing, talking, or even just sitting. And yes, I know to turn them slightly after you put them in your ear. I've tried every possible way to fit them and nothing prevents them from coming loose. I find myself pressing them in really often. When in, the sound is great, but that only lasts until they work loose. It really doesn't help your overall listening experience. With my other earbuds, I could use other ear gels if I didn't like the ones that came with the earbuds. I have many, so I put my favorite pair on the buds. Great sound as advertised. Then I tried putting them back in the charging case only to find they don't fit in the case due to how close the body of the earbuds is to the end of the gels. The gels on these are therefore proprietary, which means if you can't find a pair that will stay securely in your ears, you're out of luck.I will be contacting Amazon to return these when I'm done with this review. I have been an Amazon customer for over 20 years. I have ordered a lot from Amazon over the years. This will be the first time I've returned a product because of the quality problems with the item. That should speak volumes of how dissatisfied I am with this product.Sorry for the length of this review, but I believe it was warranted!

UPDATED! Great purchase for the price, maybe next time the Pros! [UPDATE] and [UPDATE]
I've been using "around-the-neck" headphones for YEARS, different brands, different features, cheap/expensive, the works. Decided to try something different and so far, not disappointed. Not sure if I'm 100% sold but not disappointed. Ear buds in general are very different from the way neck-phones work and that takes a small amount of change to deal with. These headphones remind me of black versions of a well known brand's headphones. Battery life of the buds is great (as good as my original neck-phones) and since they recharge in the case they can last days on a single charge. Sound quality is good, not great. For me, there's way too little bass and no way to increase it. Volume however is no problem, they can crank the dB's. Passive noise cancelation is decent when the ear pieces are fit snug although talking with one or both in my ears (when audio off) produces a reverberating echo in that ear(s). Touch control is about 80% successful for me, usually not registering one of my taps. Auto-pause/play on removal/insertion is about 50/50 although I'm working on making sure I'm "doing it right" as you have to snug it in and give it a twist although sometimes it works by just taking it out and putting it in. Downside, sometimes it starts playing if I palm the earpiece. As some other users have reported, getting the buds out of the case is "difficult" as there's nothing to really grab except smooth shiny plastic. Perhaps if they added something like those little grabby tabs on the micro hearing aids. I was told that my voice sounds better on these than any previous neck-phones I've used so that's nice! One weird thing that happens sometimes. Since they're separate RF units, every once in a GREAT while they'll loose sync for a split second, even if the phone is in my pocket. More frequent if I'm a distance from my phone.Do they stay in my ears? Yes, yes they do. Matter of fact, just played tennis this morning with one in and never had to give it a second thought.Completely a "ME" thing and not a product issue (more or less) is that they're SMALL, untethered and I have a habit of leaving things and forgetting where they are. No tracking ability (as others might have). So far, really like them. I would recommend them to others (I already have) and if I lost them tomorrow I'd probably get the Pro's as a replacement. (more mic's, easier to remove from case!) I'd LOVE if I could pump up the bass and if they had something to help track them down but again, for the price, these are a fantastic buy![UPDATE]OK, it's been a while and I've had some more time to work with these. Had to drop a star. Battery lasting less than I thought (actually started recording times and use) and I've been experiencing the un-syncing/drop-out of audio between the two earpieces more and more.[UPDATE}Well, it's time to hunt for something else. The sync dropping between the two headpieces is getting REALLY annoying. Now happens multiple times a day. Talking with these in my ears creates that hum feedback, even with just one - very annoying. Touch controls - don't, at least not a majority of the time. And why does my volume always drop to ZERO when I switch over to these? Tired of the problems and tired of trying to "work it out". There's a product that works great but is "quirky" and then there's this, a product that is annoying and doesn't work well enough to justify its idiosyncrasies.UPDATECustomer support took care of all my problems! Wish more companies had the same care for their clients.

Worth the buy
1 year and 6 months later the dies on me….. I ordered these in Nov 2023 and they worked well. I refused to buy AirPods when this option was cheaper and worked just as well. It’s a great buy, I have no complaints. Also they have great customer service!
