I got mine years ago and I’ve been using it for my Quest 2 with no issue. It’s a big battery so it can take a bit to charge but it has pass through charging. Once it’s paired with a strap battery I was able to get about ten extra hours. I was recently looking for a new setup for a Quest 3 since I’m planning to get one but now I won’t need to since this battery seems to meet the specs. I’ll report back if it works or not.

I've tested many battery solutions on my different strap replacements and this is by far the best solution and it never smacks you in the head or falls off like others do. I tested this on the strap that comes with the Quest 2, the oculus elite battery strap (my fav actually), kiwi's head strap and the Bobo head strap. It's not necessarily intended for anything but the original strap but it easily fits on other straps. You just attach it to the strap going front to back and rest it's weight on the rear head support as much as possible. Works for just about everything. In this config (especially with the Oculus brand battery strap) you can play for quite a long time. The quest 2 will draw most of its power from an external battery but also draws from itself to (I assume) let the charging circuitry cool and the HMD battery as well. So when my elite battery Hits 55% I tap the button and tum on this which will start charging the battery in the strap. That's allot of battery life. You will quit before it does. I also use the battery to charge the battery strap and the quest 2 (obviously) but I wouldn't recommend charging something with the battery while also charging it back up. I also would only charge it until I see the 2nd zone filled, then I'll wait about 45 min and stop charging. That should make sure it charges plenty but stays below. 85%. 85% is the most you should charge a lithium battery if you want to get the most charge cycles out of it. If you're not using it for 2+ weeks drain it to 40%. You should also never let it get below about 10% power for maximum battery health.

If you want to keep your quest powered for a bit longer, this will definitely do the trick, but there's a few things you should consider first. First, the straps that hold this power bank onto the actual headset strap can sometimes feel uncomfortable depending on the shape of your head. They won't feel like they're not there, nor will the power bank itself, which can rest on the back of your head. The battery life is also only enough for maybe one more charge. It's not gonna keep you going for a super extended period of time. That doesn't mean this is a bad product, I love it, but you should be sure you're okay with actually feeling that power bank on your head, and be aware it won't last for a long time before needing a recharge.

Have owned for a bit over two months now. The battery works great and extends the battery life as promised. By placing the battery back on the back of the strap as shown, it really helps balance things out and makes the Oculus more comfortable. We did try pairing it with the oculus elite strap but ended up liking it better the with the standard strap and returned the elite strap. Only real complains is the cord from the battery to the headset isn't the best quality. The cord broke internally within about a month and a half. Replaced it with a better cord and its working fine again. For people saying that the battery pack stopped charging and turns itself off after a minute, it's likely a damaged cord.

I choose this particular product due to the fact it's battery life seemed to exceed the others on the market. I can say after over a year it still hits that mark reliably. I choose this particular company based on research and the positive reviews. I wholeheartedly agree and can assure you this is a company which still considers integrity and client satisfaction their highest priority. I have tried different battery packs of my own and different mounting positions, & I've used headgear with batteries built in. Some have had the ability to exchange packs while rotating on their accompanying chargers while others were singles. I would always recommend multiple battery's to rotate so you always have one on hand with a full charge. You may purchase additional items at the company's website as well as Amazon. The long wear comfort with the placement of the battery on the crown of the head, on the upper rear portion of headstrap, is perhaps the best I've ever used for counterweight and extra playtime while being totally immersed yet free of headaches, cranial stress or smashing of the ears. Overall exceptional product, outstanding company thanks guys!

First this product works well. It has very long battery life and really increases the playtime of my VR headset. However, I broke my elite battery strap into three pieces when I tried to mount this on top of it. For those who are not aware, the official elite strap and elite battery strap are flawed products and they will eventually break along the pressure points regardless how careful you are. It is not the fault of this heavy battery, however, it is probably not a good idea to use this with your elite strap or elite battery strap, especially what you have is the initial batch.

First of all, everyone giving this product 1 star because it “doesn’t function properly” probably didn’t even bother taking two seconds of their time to fully read the guide included in the box. This pack works like a charm, really does balance out the weight on the oculus, and adds hours of extended gameplay, while being perfectly comfortable. I’d buy this over the Elite strap + battery any day. For the price, you honestly can’t beat it. Now I will say it does take some time to fully charge (about 3-4hrs, idk I honestly didn’t time it) but once it’s fully charged, you’ll enjoy hours of gameplay without worrying about battery life. I have a friend who bought the elite strap with battery for the oculus, and this battery pack out did that, and then some. Really do recommend.

I've been doing vigirous testing with this device on my Quest 3 for a little under a week now. Through an entire play session I noticed I got over 7 hours of gameplay through wifi6e virtual desktop pcvr, using ultra settings and high bitrates. This was before my Quest 3 let me know the power was low. I don't like draining devices to 0% so I suspect you can get 8 hours out of this power bank alone. Apparently many people have been having issues with power, before I got this power bank I noticed around 2 hours of battery life myself. This power bank is a must have, and charges the Quest 3 while it gets charged. Mixed with a charging cable as you play through a long session may show indefinite time you can spend on the Quest 3, or at least 50% - 66% extra over the 8 hours. Since the output is 3a and the input charge is 2a. It takes around 6 hours for the power bank to fully charge from 0% however. So results may vary. This also depends what settings you are using and game you are playing. PCVR is what I like to use wirelessly, and these are my results using it. Though regardless one thing is certain: Getting this power bank is a must.
