An Awesome Transformer! It kept my 7 year old entertained.
My son was so pleased with this. He hasn’t put it down all day. The instructions were so easy to follow. Now we just have to collect them all!

well balanced and a good, solid
Probably the strongest Combiner Core in our collection, very posable, well balanced and a good, solid, simple transformation. Kiddo loves him.

very good
Its a very good transformer but when i first got it out of the box i relized that one arm was stiff and the other was very loose. sort of hard to transform but very good in combiner mode. about 6/2 inches tall and about 6 inches wide. Its one of the best transformers that i have.

Not the greatest for collecting
Cool figure but not a big fan. Seller fine, hasbro could have done better on design. Not worth it. Just buy Silverbolt or Cyclonus, same mold better wings not flimsy.

Overall a good buy.
Needed this to help round out my collection of this series of Transformers. Loved it.

Not bad, but not a step forward.
Admittedly, I made this purchase because the idea of a complete Combiner Wars update of the Technobot team appeals to me as a collector of the original Transformers from the 80s. I love these new updates! With no word on future Technobots being made, however--and a gestalt team on Scattershot's box featuring other figures like Ironhide and Mirage (and called "Betatron", no less)--I have to say that some of the luster fades on this figure. As a combiner main piece, he's pretty cool; as a stand-alone figure? Not too sure. I DO like the upgraded Silverbolt mold--the gun in the front looks cool, and the new wing design is great as well. The colors work well, and it looks like Scattershot should! The plastic DOES feel a little flimsy in places, though, but collectors expect this with repeated mold use. Bot mode looks decent as well, true to the original Scattershot, especially in the head, even though the head does have a little trouble turning due to its size. Now, for the letdowns, which really just point to the fact that we probably aren't getting a decent Technobot team. First, the weapon is just a silver repaint of Silverbolt's two-part gun. Ok, fine--I suppose that should be expected. But the real disappointment here is with the gestalt head tucked away in Scattershot's chest. It's just a slight recolor of the Superion head. With all the retooling that's been done in this series to make characters that share molds different (Streetwise looks LOADS different from Dead End, for example), I would think that, if the Technobots WERE being made, a proper Computron head would have been made as well. Up until now, that sort of impressive attention to detail had been the norm for this series. Sadly, it seems to be at an an end with this figure. Holding out hope for proper Technobot releases to go with Scattershot; just not holding my breath.Pick this guy up if you like the mold or are a fan of the figure, just don't be expecting anything that reinvents the wheel.
