I wash my dog with it, he smells like apples afterwards. His fur is smooth and silky. I do wash my hair with it sometimes too, no complaints, it does the job. Scent is fresh and delicious.

First off, Mane N Tail is a good product for certain hair types. It does clean and strengthen as advertised, but it doesn't suit all hair types. This is true for most shampoos and conditioners. If you have dry or brittle hair, I would NOT recommend this product as it lacks moisturizing properties. Additionally, if you have color-treated hair, this might not be the best choice since it fades color faster than some other products. However, it does strengthen hair as promised; I’ve noticed my hair is stronger than before. I wish the company would expand their product line to cater to more hair types, but we’ll have to wait and see. My suggestion is to carefully read the label to ensure it matches your hair type before using it.
