Does anyone know what the thread count is or if it is any good for hand embroidery?

I tried to count the threads across an inch and I'd say about sixty. It is fairly fine and threads might show on the back but it is cheap enough to give it a try. I use it for patchwork. It is more substantial than poly cottons but a little bit light really. A needle goes through the threads quite easily.

I need 2 x 3metres of this as one piece not a metre each, how do I order?

It does say anything over one metre will come as one piece, so just order six metres and cut in half! For two x 3 metres. If you meant 2 m x 3 m, you would need to order 5 m and have a join down the length 50cm in from one edge.

Would this make a good tablecloth 6ft by 2.6 table

Hello, no I don't think it's suitable for a tablecloth. Its suitable for cot sheets, craft backings etc I expect you will have a thicker cotton for a tablecloth. I hope that helps.

Good plain white calico for the price

Good cotton fabric and quick delivery. A bit thinner than I expected, comparing to the calico I bought previously. I am using it for the toiles of the garments, it's alright for that purpose, but not exactly what I was looking for. The price though is great for what you get. The color is plain white as in the description.
