Celiac Friendly
I bought this specifically because it was certified gluten free as I have Celiac Disease. I would definitely purchase this item again, but it was a bit heavy on the black pepper.

Tastes like black pepper
Eggs, potatoes, and cheddar cheese, three ingredients i love the most, get overshadowed by the unnevessarily too much black pepper. I can eat a bit of spicy food, and I can take this, yet when you use a lot of pepper, it feels like it is trying to cover other less good ingredients, in this case, I think its the egg? Too bad the potatoes are in mashed form, not dices. Some meals hv 20 years of shelf life, this has 3. My tongue gets wacky whilst eating this which tells me the food may not be very good so I stopped eating half way and thats my honest review. So much potential but executed badly I'd say.

Very good. Needs salt.
Spent a week in glacier and got a bunch of these. As other people have said, its a little heavy on the pepper but still delicious. It definitely needs salt so bring a few sachets.

WAY too peppery and mushy
Neither of us eating this product could finish it because of the peppery-ness and on top of that it was so mushy after rehydration that we ended up just thowing it out.

Dissapointment
It's not... bad, it just wasnt what I expected. The ingredients label listed "potato flakes", leading me think it would have a consistency of mashed potatoes, with eggs and cheese.Even when opening and seeing diced potato chunks, I was thinking no problem, that's ok too...But after adding the portioned amount of water, and following Mfg instructions on waiting, stirring, and more waiting... I was ultimately disappointed to find potato soup with eggs and cheese. The taste wasn't bad, by any means. As another reviewer noted it is in fact very black pepper heavy. But I liked that.Overall, if you approach it expecting potato soup, you'll probably like it. It just hadn't been what I wanted at the time.

Too much black pepper to my liking
Amount of water indicated of the packaging worked adequately to get the intended texture. It had too much black pepper for me to enjoy it.

Yucky!
These eggs are terrible! I couldn't eat them, just couldn't. The flavor, the texture was yucky!

Pepper Soup
Make no mistake, this is very peppery. In fact, that’s about all you can really taste. The mushy consistency is what really makes this product unpleasant. Too much potato flakes and not enough dice potatoes. Very difficult to actually distinguish the eggs. This one needs to go back to the taste testers, but not the ones who approved this variation.
