Excellent product
Generally speaking I think water filters are a waste of money and a con game. However since we have to have them in today’s world these filters are the best I have used. I’ve used filters for three other refrigerators recently (another story) and I find these to be the best. Price is within range of similar products which are all priced ridiculously expensive. I spend more money on filters in a year than toothpaste.

Don’t buy more than one at a time.
These are original filters, I bought one and it worked just as advertised and water tasted good, no issues with ice making and lasted 6 months before refrigerator asked for a replacement. And I like to keep using the original to keep everything working as it should and filtering the water as best as possible.When I bought my second one it did not work and did not want to connect due to the RFID chip it has, I have seen that some of these filters have bad chips in them even from GE so be aware of that thankfully Amazon does 30 day returns and I will return my second one and buy another one.

Super easy installation
My new refrigerator was delivered with no instructions manual, no water filter and zero help from the company where appliance was purchased.After finding what was needed, I ordered this filter. It arrived in a day. YouTube video helped me install it, which was so very easy. I had to assure the water lines were attached and open but because the filter installation was so, so easy, stress level was at a minimum.Water and ice were available pronto!
