This table protector is on my three year old's fold down table in his playhouse. It's perfect for when he eats, colors, paints, plays with Play-Doh, uses his stamps, and does other various activities. Clean up is a breeze! It is a very good thickness size (1.5 mm), a little smaller than the thickness of a half dollar. It arrived with a slight odor, but as per the instructions the odor goes away. I didn't end up using the product's suggestions for flattening the mat. I instead chose to use double sided sticky tape dots to adhere it to the table so that it would be secured even when the table was folded down. I am not sure how heat resistant it is as nothing would ever be placed on it that was so hot that it could burn my son. But for our purposes, this protector is perfect for our needs.

This was a great purchase. It lays flat within minutes, and clings securely to surfaces, it's sturdy, and easy to clean (soap/water or windex). What I really love is that I can use my dry erase markers on it and wipe it away easy. It serves many purposes. YES, great purchase!

This is very thick and clear. I think it looks great, exactly as described. This is bigger than my actual table and will require trimming. I haven't tried that yet since I was giving it time to unroll to relax some of the curl on the edges from shipping. I'm a little nervous how well trimming it myself will work considering it won't be a factory edge, but we'll see. I'll update my review if anything is drastically unexpected during trimming or if I learn any tips or tricks. I plan to use an exacto knife and straight edge.If anyone was wondering, it came in a giant roll, wrapped in some sort of metallic shrink wrap, in a box.

Other than the product sticking together when you try to unroll it, which resulted in a very small scratch on the surface, I would have given this a 5 star rating.We purchased a metal patio table that had a woodgrain finish painted on it. We noticed the display model in the store had several scratches that cut through the faux woodgrain finish down to the metal. It looked like someone had scratched it with a ring or other piece of jewelry. So, we knew when we purchased the table that we would have to either keep a tablecloth on it all the time or have a piece of acrylic cut to fit the top of it for protection.I saw this and knew it was the solution to our problem. I didn't like the tablecloth we were using because I wanted to see the woodgrain finish beneath. We were able to order this to fit the exact tabletop dimensions like a custom cut piece or acrylic would fit it. This product is crystal clear and high gloss. It looks like glass on the tabletop. It is high quality in that it is heavy and thick enough not to slide out of place or blow off in the wind on our covered patio. It is extremely easy to wipe of with Windex and a soft, lint free cloth or paper towel.For the money, it can't be beaten. Just be careful unrolling it so that that the top surface does not stick to the bottom surface above it. A liner between the rolled layers would have resolved this issue, but then someone would probably complain about having to dispose of the paper or tissue liner.Other than the small scratch, this would have been a 5 star!

These mats are very heavy duty, durable and work great on my kids’ desks! They are clear which allows them to put photos underneath and see through. They are completely stain resistant and easy to clean up! Even though they came rolled up, there were no wrinkles or kinks within the item when we unrolled them!

This item is very nice and thick. I’ve ordered the same product for all my livingroom tables; this one was for my coffee table, which is 40x54, so I thought this would be perfect. In reality, it’s 40.75x53, so too long on one side; too short on the other. Very disappointed.
