Lether Black Plague Doctor Mask

It was a nice costume to have during the pandemic. Kinda of a joke, until you realize the history of the Plaque Doctor. It was a smart move to dress as one.

Great mask! Does look a little goofy on the forehead part, but tucked under a hood or hat makes it look better. Lenses do fog up pretty quickly, but if you run them with a little soap, it helps keep the fog away.

Great price, perfect fit, fast delivery, but since I really don't know leather, I am not quite sure this is real leather even though add says leather, but kept it anyhow for the price and comfort and the look.

Arrived exactly as pictured. Very well made, good adjustability, no weird smells, and the lenses barely fog up unless you run a marathon wearing this. It’s also a perfect size, some others have very long “beaks”. This does not look goofy, it’s sinister. Definitely stuff something in the beak to keep it’s shape, otherwise this thing is awesome!

Great for looks, not for wear. Had to cut out the plastic eye pieces with a seam ripper (surprisingly did not ruin the esthetic) so that he could see because it was all fog in the first exhale while wearing it. Also the strap on the back was a bit large, would stick up when you adjusted how tight you want it. He was wearing the plague doctor hat so it covered it. Would fit a large adult male just fine, I think. It’s super thick like leather and could be hot if worn for a prolonged period, naturally. Good quality.

Awesome mask, exactly as described. It does have a synthetic smell, but not unbearable. My eye holes have not fogged at all, and very easy to see through. These are going to be so awesome, Halloween may be canceled due to paranoia, but will be epic when wear to do some shopping.

WHY is the attached photo sideways? Ugh. Anyway... I can't wear my glasses with it, but they're a low prescription so it won't be too hard to do the grocery shopping in the coronavirus era. Hopefully it'll help keep people TF away from me. It gets a bit muggy while you're wearing it, but that's to be expected. And as far as the smell as I've seen some others mention on other similar products, its not too bad. I mean, it smells like vinyl, but it's not overbearing. I'd recommend it.

The lens do fog a bit, there is zero peripheral vision (what do you expect from the Plague Doctor). You need to put something in the nose portion in order for the mask to hold it's shape and at least for me, the chin of the mask actually rests atop my chin (it's about 1/2" too small).

This was an excellent mask for Halloween. It fitted great and i was able to breathe through the vent holes on the bottom. it did not fog over. I do not wear glasses but i found it great. I also stuffed some paper towel in the nose to keep it pointy and it did not affect the breathing. It was awesome and will be using it again next Halloween. great quality and fit great.

Me encantó. Es justo lo que esperé que llegara. Solo que si es necesario colocarle papel o algo en el frente para mantener la forma y además es algo complicado de respirar pero, si no haces mucho movimiento puedes tenerla puesta más tiempo.

This is a child size mask. It might fit a small child. Mask is well made, however there is no way that it would fit an adult, and I'm not a very large headed adult. The eye holes are set too low, so you literally cannot see, but at the same time you can't see, the seams around the eyes put a lot of pressure on the wearers eyeballs making it unwearable. The plastic glass also foggs up. When raising mask up so that the eyes do line up with the wearers eyes to see properly, the pressure moves from the eyes to the brow bone, but the bottom part of the mask sits above the mouth. This mask is not supposed to sit like a half face mask, the resulting appearance is comical. And very uncomfortable. A plus is that my pet bird was totally untraumatized by my trying to make this mask remotely wearable in her presence. She's a rescue and scared of anything remotely resembling a black garbage bag. She seemed quite amused.

I'm fairly happy with it! PROS: - very breathable - eyes don't fog up very much - head strap is very sturdy and keeps it in place - shape is nice from the side (But silly from the front, I'd suggest finding something to fill the beak of the mask.) CONS: - shape is hilariously silly from the front, I'd suggest finding something to fill the beak of the mask otherwise the beak will be completely flat. - fairly small, so if you have large cheeks or jaw this may not fit so well If you're only using it for cosplay (Like Julian from the Arcana Game, or Percival from Critical Role) I'd say this is a good choice for it's price! But if you want something to wear more often like for Larping, I'd look for something with a bit more craftsmanship and shape.
