My older 18V DeWalt power tools were getting pretty sluggish as their battery packs were aging and getting weaker. In fact, several of the original packs have already gone bad and won’t hold a charge anymore.I was thrilled when I found these replacements and ordered them right away. Upon receipt I immediately checked to make sure that they properly fit and powered my most often used tool, the power drill.Well, not only does it fit, but the amount of torque is so impressive that when I pulled the trigger the drill actually twisted a bit in my hand. These batteries are like a fountain of youth for my aging collection of power tools giving them back their powerful performance just like when they were new.Additionally, each has a small membrane switch that when depressed illuminates a small bar of green LEDs so you can instantly see the amount of change that they have.These batteries have been great so far providing excellent performance and good value.

This pair of Dewalt 18v replacement batteries are awesome. After the original batteries went bad, we bought some knockoff ones on Amazon. They lasted 4 years, but always struggled to keep a charge. I took a chance and purchased these. These are over 7ah and lasted a full day using a circ saw and drill. At the end of the day, still 3/4 charged. Pay a little more, you'll get a great battery and enjoy your battery operated tools much more!

Needed a new battery for my Dewalt drill. This one works well and is much cheaper than the Dewalt batteries. Very good price. Would recommend this item.

These are lighter than the original battery

These batteries fit my Dewalt products perfectly and they really hold a charge I have only had to charge them once so far and I use my tools almost everyday. I also really like the battery life indicator on the back.

Edit - went from 5 to 1 star.The product fails to charge after inky three or four cycles. And my 30 day warrantee is up. Too short.This is great! It works with any old dewalt charger I have (the protection circuitry is inside battery). And it's much lighter - made be half - or what the old batteries weighed.I have a lot of the new style, tools with new style batteries - they are of course my go-tos. But for fast efficient work having the old tools available is great.For example - Imagine I'm doing some work that utilizes flap disks (tuff sand paper) on my brushless angle grinder. Having an old angle grinder (with this amazon battery) standing by with a grinder already attached is super handy. I don't have to change over the disks, which might take more time than the couple seconds of grinding process.

It works great, I think it runs longer than my old ones did. Pretty cheap way to keep the old drill running
