Should be standard in every Firefighters bunker gear
Love them! Perfect to add to your bunker gear. I've used them several times for shutting off gas service on fire grounds and general purpose uses

Overall great tool personal tool
I've had the cable cutter variant for about 5 years now so I've gotten quite a bit out of use out of it. The cable cutters are great - works like a charm every time I've had to cut battery cables. Spanner end is super useful for undoing hose that's on super tight, or doing the opposite with leaking couplings. The gas shut off is the right size and I've yet to have issues shutting off gas to buildings as needed. While the carbon steel body does require frequent cleaning and lubrication, especially after it gets wet, that makes it MUCH easier to sharpen and maintain the cable cutter end. The tool is a bit hefty, but the trade off is that it's super solid. The only issue I've found with it is the prying end. The pry bar is too thick from the factory to really get into anything. It's too thick for most doors except loose, poorly fitting interior doors, and it's certainly too thick for prying windows open, which usually have tighter clearances than doors to begin with. I can only imagine the way you use this for prying windows open is to really just assist opening a window that's already unlocked, and you use this for added leverage since there's no handle on the outside. There's no real way to impact any force with a hammer to assist driving the pry end in, so it's gonna be all muscle and technique and it's really only a light-medium forcible entry tool - a step above a shove knife, like a carpenters flat pry bar, but before a true pry bar like a halligan or wrecking bar. With some tuning such as thinning out the the pry end a bit, and adding more of a bevel to the top, you can make a somewhat usable pry tool out of it, but don't expect a whole lot. TL;DR - Great construction - 3 of 4 tools (cutter, spanner, gas shut off) are great - Pry end is workable with some tuning, but not great for windows like advertised.

Our son - a firefighter - loves it.
Our son - a firefighter - loves it. He's an EMT too and it has a few uses that way as well, but he asked for this as a gift when he was in his 1st year with the dept. It lives in a pocket of his fire suit and he says it's very useful. I've been a lifelong user of Channel Locks. My father loved the brand and I was always taught to buy American tools when I could and those with the best warranties. These check both boxes. While I have never broken a pair of my Channe locks, I have used inferior brands (knockoffs, really) and they slip, won't hold, and feel cheap. I have had to leave a project and stop using another tool and go get my Channel Locks to finish the job. One other use for me. When I am not allowed to carry my gun or even my knife of a decent size... no one ever questions a pair of Channel Locks in your pocket!

Hold up unreal well! I’m volunteer Fire and I use at almost every call! Wether has shut off or cutting batteries or prying or using spanned wrench! Works unreal! Just little bit of oil everyonce in while and they work great! Constantly getting called over at calls for them! Fit nicely in bunker gear and not too heavy but extremely durable

I’m a professional fireman in Canada and needed something on hand to turn the natural gas off at working fires. This is a versatile tool that’s good for a number of things. The cutters work well on battery cables for MVCs and the wrench helps unlock stubborn couplings

I use them for work as rescue cutters. They are a bit heavy compared to the 911 blue handle ones, but definitely a shorter handle. I wish the metal was a bit stronger, as they are not made for cutting steel cable. I use the accessories almost daily.
