Wanted an inexpensive lake knife
I needed an inexpensive knife that I could carry while swimming. I didn't want to be one of those tools who straps a diving knife to his leg while playing with his kids at the lake. But I do like having a utility knife on me whenever possible. This little stainless steel folder seemed to fit the bill. And you know what? It is not that bad. The pros: It is pointy on one end. It is sharp on one side. It most likely wont rust. If it rusts I don't care because it was so cheap. If I lose it I don't care because it is so cheap. The cons: It's not a very good knife (but I don't care all that much). The breakdown: The blade seems relatively sharp, well, sharp enough for cutting dingy rope or whatever may come up while I'm waist deep in a lake. The handle is plastic and about what you'd expect for a knife at this price point. It has a plastic clip that is a molded part of the handle and it holds onto the band of a pair of swim-shorts pretty well. There is also a lanyard hole, so you could wear it around your neck, but I don't like ropes of any kind around my neck. It's very light and you will pretty much forget it's clipped to your shorts until you need it. I have no idea what kind of steel it's made of and I will most likely never even try to sharpen it. The reason being that I will hardly ever actually use the bade. It's a swimming knife How many times have you needed a knife well swimming? Exactly :) I know there are snooty knife guys who would recoil in horror at the prospect defiling their swim-shorts by clipping such a "crappy" knife to its waistband. And I'm sure they can recommend an arse-load of expensive waterproof folders/diving knives/etc...if that's what your after go read their reviews. And then cry when you lose it while cannon-balling off a dock while drunk :)

Great Value, But Not Perfect
This is a good, basic dive knife. Sharp blade, pretty easy opening and closing, and a line cutter on the outside of the blade, which can be used without opening the knife. My only negative with it is that the line cutter has very sharp edges on the outside, where it could easily snag a wetsuit, etc., and might possibly cause a cut to your hand, if you aren't extra careful when handling it. I sanded the edges to round them slightly, and believe it is now smooth enough to function safely, yet still get the job done. For the cost, I think it is a great value, and I would buy it again.

Good for Price - Wish Top Line Cutter Was Protected When Closed
A good knife for the price and I always like to have a knife when I am diving. Some operations look at you strange if you strap a fixed knife on your leg, so I have been using this in a BCD pocket. I don't like the way the line cutter isn't fully protected though when this is closed. You could cut yourself or equipment if not careful.

great little knife,not too expensive
bought this for an upcoming snorkel trip.it's super sharp, fits my hand well.i hope to never, ever use it.i plan to zip lock baggie it,then place it in a water proof pack, fold it over into my zippered swim trunks pocket.no reason to get it wet unless i need it to cut netting or plastic.i also did not think i needed to strap on a machete to my leg while having a relaxing float.nice folding knife

Great knife for the price.
The 5 stars is based upon the price. Good knife, sharp, & can’t beat the price. Decent quality but for the price you can’t beat it.

Honestly wasnt expecting such an awesome knife. I use it for spearfishing and its sharp, havent had any slip issues with the grip and it has yet to show any signs of rusting.

sharp point at the top
would give it 5 stars but this knife has a sharp point outside the upper part, very dangerous so makes it impossible to carry around.
