NIVEA FOR MEN Sensitive, Shaving Gel 7 oz (Pack of 3)

My husband has been using this Nivea shaving gel for years now, and quite honestly, he simply does not buy anything else. We are long-standing customers of the brand because it consistently does exactly what it needs to do without any drama. The gel lathers up into a really thick, rich foam very quickly, which makes the whole shaving process much smoother and significantly reduces the risk of him getting any nicks or irritation on his skin. It has a clean, classic scent that isn't overpowering, which we both appreciate. Even though his skin can be a bit sensitive, he finds this particular formula very soothing and it never leaves him feeling dry or tight after he has finished shaving. It is one of those reliable products that we always make sure is stocked in the bathroom cabinet because we know it performs well every single time. The canister lasts for a good while too, as you only need a small amount to get a full, even coverage across the face. It is great value for money considering how long one can lasts, and it is a staple in our home for a reason. If you are looking for something that is dependable, gentle on the skin, and works efficiently, this is definitely a solid choice that we will keep coming back to time and time again.

I have used this shaving gel with both an electric wet and dry rotary electric shaver and a traditional razor blade, and found it to be excellent with both methods, as the blades glide over the gel very easily with no after-burn. The gel is reasonably thick and does a good job, and with my Philips Series 3000 wet and dry rotary shaver, it does not take long to rinse out all the gel in the blades under the tap and air-dry the shaver. I will certainly buy this shaving gel again.

When it comes to gentlemen's grooming products, Nivea and Gillette are by far the best double act by some distance. This I know to be true, based on many decades of experience using the products. For me no other grooming brands come into my field of vision. For a satisfying shave it is also essential to use a good quality sharp razor, have plenty of hot water and use a good quality soft warm towel (preferably 700GSM) followed by Nivea Post Shave Balm. All this is essential and helps to complete the grooming experience. Whether you choose to use shaving Gel, shaving Cream or shaving Foam each product is rich, thick and creamy. I've always managed at least 50 shaves, since very little to required for a really good lather. All this while listening to classical music on BBC Radio Three. For me it is the best way to start the day, followed by a really good continental breakfast. A civilised way to live.
