I live in an apartment and wanted something more efficient than a refillable water filter system. I had been using a zerowater filter refillable pitcher type but the filters made the water taste almost sour after a couple of weeks and had to stop using it. This water filter seems to be of good quality and has made a difference in the taste. I have mine setup to work through the cold water side in my kitchen sink and it works beautifully. For 37$ or whatever it is far better and cheaper to use this than a water filter pitcher type alternative. Also it says the filter is good for a year?! Just buy it. You’ll be glad you did.

The product works exactly as advertised and feels like a solid, reliable under-sink water filter. Installation is generally straightforward, but in my case I had a 1/4” compression shut-off valve and faucet inlet, which made the setup a bit tricky. I reached out to Waterdrop customer support for guidance, and I’m really glad I did. I've had multiple reverse osmosis filters and a few different in-sink and under-sink filters in my life. I like the RO stuff the best for flavor so far, but I'm always terrified that ridiculous amount of shark-bite 1/4 tubing on the cheaper RO setups is going to leak (and for good reason, they do tend to leak), and RO filters are more expensive to set up and maintain. This was easy peasy to set up and the replacement filters are cheap and easy too. We tried this one because of the value and the gallons rating on the filter. It works well, especially for the value, but I have a few tips to help you have the best experience. 1-When you install, you'll want to make sure you have the right tubes and lengths. If you don't know the different between the different types of threads (comp vs npt) and when to use or not use plumbers tape (NOT with NPT fittings), make sure to do your homework first (youtube, home depot, or similar is great) or hire a plumber so you don't have an expensive leak problem waiting to happen. 2-The 1/8" metal fittings that go into the filter housing need to be put in pretty firmly, then pulled on less firmly to ensure they are set tightly. If they pop out, they weren't in far enough. 3-We find that the first 5-15 seconds of water flow has more of a chlorine flavor after a few hundred gallons have gone through the filter. It's not super strong, but running the water about 15 seconds before filling up our water bottles makes a noticeable difference (almost no chlorine flavor. This is probably because we have our drinking water on its own separate faucet (this one, which works fine: Kablle Drinking Water Faucet, Reverse Osmosis Faucet, Water Filtration Faucet, Drinking Water Purifier Faucet, Matte Black, B10) and we don't put as many gallons through it every day as the product is designed to deal with. The instructions tell you to run the water so much every day to keep the filter in prime condition.

Love. Love. Love. So easy to install, I’ve even swapped sinks a dew times. Filters are easy to replace. I’m extremely picky on how my water tastes, and this tastes fantastic. Zero complaints here.

This is the third Waterdrop filter system I've bought since 2024 -- there were two sinks, and then one I installed at my daughter's home. Our city water has a chlorine taste, and this gets rid of it, plus it's supposed to remove a whole bunch of other stuff, including lead and PFAS. The units are easy to install, and all I can say is the water tastes great now, and I think my (French press) coffee is better, too. I can also report that Waterdrop's customer service is TOP NOTCH -- when I contacted them once about a small missing part, they got back to me right away and shipped it immediately.

Awesome. The install is easy and straightforward with no plumbing experience. For anyone wondering - this filter works just fine on a well system. I see about 35-40psi, and this filter works fine with basically no perceptible reduction in flow. Mind you my well water is softened and pre-filtered. Water tastes amazing! Highly recommended
