A very nice keyboard
I personally love the BATTOP Mini Keyboard. The keys feel really nice to type with and the case looks amazing on my iPad. I was thrilled to discover that there was an array of function keys that allowed me to do things like turn down and up the brightness and volume, take a screen shot, skip, pause and play music, search for apps, exit an app, and lock the iPad. I would have liked to see some sort of keyboard shortcut guide for the control, shift, option/alt, and cmd because while I've discovered that they have a lot of functionality, I sometimes find myself struggled to figure out how to do simple shortcuts that are standard on a typical computer. Some people may find it difficult to type on the smalll keyboard, but I seemed to have adjusted well to it and have very few problems myself. TLDR: a very nice keyboard.

Swivel wiggle
It moves around good and holds up. I like the feel of the case, but it is on the heavier side. It perfect for the student on the go. The only down side is the power light doesn't stay on and let you know it is still on, so you need to watch the on and off button. The charge light also doesn't stay on until it is fully charged. Besides those two little things well worth the money and pretty awesome.

Great. Just tighten the screws.
This product is excellent. Well priced, nice feel and changes my iPad into a little laptop. The bluetooth connection is always great and the battery life seems to last a long time. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is due to the screws. I had to tighten every screw, which wasn't too difficult however some removing of covers was necessary for this process.

This is meant for a iPad mini so the keyboard is small and not so great for people with big hands
People expect too much for the keyboard. This is meant for a iPad mini so the keyboard is small and not so great for people with big hands. I use mine for protection and for research purposes. It’s dropped a couple times and doesn’t damage my iPad and the case is still in tact. Nice sturdy case and I love it for the price! Definitely recommend product!

Excellent design, VERY poor durability
UPDATE: I have recently returned my second, replacement keyboard. It failed with exactly the same problem as the original but in much less time, about 2 months. The company was very responsive and issued a refund quickly, so I commend them for that. But this product is NOT durable enough, and consumers should NOT tolerate disposable electronics. I hope that at least some of the three pounds of plastic and metals can be recycled. Original review: As far as form and function go, I give this four stars. It fit my iPad snugly, the "soft touch" exterior makes it easy to grip (though does show hand prints excessively), the swivel is smooth and sturdy with a stiff joint that holds its position well, the keypad has good feel, Bluetooth connection was seamless. Some keys are oddly positioned and sized, but such is the case with most cases in my experience. One design flaw is the weight distribution. Whenever I tilt the screen back more than, say, 20 degrees past vertical, the weight of the iPad pulls the whole thing over. When seated, I can get the angle to work well enough. But if I'm standing and working (as I do often in my kitchen while cooking from recipes on my iPad), I have to lay the screen completely backward in order to use the keyboard. It's rare that more weight is desirable in mobile technology, but this is definitely one instance where the base needs counterweight added to provide a stable platform. Quality-wise, I give this two stars. I'm on my second keyboard, the first one having failed after about 3 months. Several keys on the right side went totally dead, making the keyboard useless. Customer service was attentive (though Amazon itself was not, as they told me they had no warranty information for the manufacturer). I contacted BATTOP via message from their seller page and they replied quickly, eventually sending a replacement at no cost within 7 days. I have less than a month on this new one, but will update my review if new issues arise. Overall, this product has many good features but also some niggles that inhibit it from being excellent. None of that matters, of course, if it burns out in less than a year.

Hardware seems fine... faulty keyboard
Update: so i guess the keypad loosen up over time? The creaking stopped and the double type stopped but recently the right side shift button and delete button completely lost functionality. I've never appreciated the delete button more. Bought this sept 2017. Didn't last even a year. I was going to buy another one because when it's proprely working, it SO convenient! However, I can't buy a new one every 6 months on my student income. Trying a different one for now. Pro: it's super awesome when it comes to protection. Case is very sturdy. The swivel screen is great too! The iPad stays FIRMLY. I actually had a hard time pulling it back out. The rotating piece (circled it in blue) makes a cracking sound every time I move it which I'm super careful with since it seems to have a history of breaking... other than the sound it's working fine so far... The keyboard is faulty and quite annoying. All the ones circled in orange types double every time I hit it. Considering that the double space is a shortcut for the . It's capitalizing EVERY word. I have two spaces between each word as well. I turned off the shortcut but can't do much about all the other buttons...

Awesome so far
Awesome so far! It turned my iPad Mini 3 into a tiny laptop to take to school and work. It's very light compared to how heavy my Otterbox is, but I can tell that it will not provide nearly as much protection so I'll try to be extra careful. It looks more expensive than it was and the keyboard works great. I have noticed that it can take a few seconds for the Bluetooth to connect but it's not too bad. You can see in the pics that I plugged it into my laptop with the USB cord it came with to charge it and had no problems there. The top swivels easily and it sits upright on the table although it is a little top heavy. If you have large hands it might be a challenge to use the keyboard, but for me it's no problem. Not bad for the price! Lets hope it doesn't snap in half.

Swivel like it's hot! (6 MONTH UPDATE--JULY 2016)
Swivel hinge seems sturdy, case has some weight to it so that the ipad won't topple backwards. The keys are responsive and the bluetooth connection has a slight delay when coming out of sleep state, but after that the key presses are instant. My main feature in getting this keyboard case was the swiveling feature. I like how you can turn it all the way around and use it as a tablet, while keeping it in the case. There is a small gap when it is closed (near the swivel joint) as it is raised so you do get some wobble if pressing the corners. Other than that, I am satisfied to have this keyboard on my iPad Mini 2! **6 MONTH UPDATE** So I had this keyboard case for about 6 months now. I have dropped it several times and if you want good protection, this keyboard case probably wouldn't suffice. It is essentially plastic holding your iPad in place, as opposed to the Logitech keyboard case that protects the back and edges when folded up. Here is a picture of what the BATTOP branded case looks like now after a few drops. There is plastic buldging up from the swiveling part, but it still works. I would say 6 months use out of this product is fine by me. The best thing I liked about it was the angles you could have even if I didn't use the keyboard all that much.
