Bought for our German Shepherd. She is quite small so bought the medium size.She measures 17 inches / 43cm round neck and 29.5 inches / 75cm girth. This is a good fit for her. If you have a big male Shepherd then you may need large. The front chest buckles are very sturdy metal . The two rear buckles are plastic so can't viuch for how long they will last. This harness has a chest strap which can be adjusted too. All of the buckles have padding behind them which helps to prevent chafing. There is a grab handle which is useful to control your dog and 3 metal attachment rings - back, chest and stomach. If your dog pulls, the front chest ring is useful to attach double ended training lead to stop this. She finds it very comfortable. Have only had it a short time so cannot vouch for how hard wearing it will be but the materials and stitching seems sturdy. Good value for money.

Bought this for an adolescent rescue Dobermann to use as a car harness and for walks. It is sturdy and inspires confidence when he occasionally reacts and tears up, the handle is great for extra control. Only downside is it needs constant adjustments, as it is always loosening around the chest straps. We use this in conjunction with a Dogmatic harness, and a double ended training lead for walks, and achain style lead for in the car as he is a prolific chewer. Have used the Velcro pannels to attach "Rescue Dog" patches to alert people not to pet without consent.

We have 4 very large hounds ( 62kg to 72kg) and have struggled to get harnesses that fit and are comfortable as our hounds are different shapes ( age related and maturity) so I was getting desperate as previous harness had rubbed badly. So to get to the point I found these by chance and read a lot of the reviews, I bought one to try . Amd my boy was so much happier , so clearly it was comfortable easy to fit and the harness just sat right on him . And he was easier to control when we were out tracking . So I bought three more . My only niggle I went by size guide and they come up on the large size of the chart measurements . Instead of buying 2 xl 1 l and 1 m for the pup I needed 1 xl amd 1 l and 1 m and 1 s for pup but I still give it 5 stars as my hounds are really comfy at last and I have every make of harness there is . If your dog is active and you want control these are fab . And you can add bags to the top of harness ( ideal in the summer the dogs can carry there own pop up bowl and water in summer)

I measured my dog and followed instructions ordered the Large for my 35kg GSDxHSKY. It arrived and it was far too big so I had to return it and order a medium. The straps are made so poorly that you don't have enough room or strap to adjust properly. When I received the medium all looked ok but still does not fit my dog properly. You can only extend it so much and the strap under his belly keeps coming loose I have had to try and find a way to pin, clip or stitch it up to stop coming loose . after using it for less than 2 weeks the whole harness just flops around on him. He is a big boy so the fact that a large and medium do not fit is very strange as never had this issue with harnesses before. You can tell that a small would be too small for him. It is the strap under his belly that does not adjust and it makes the whole harness slide around. I have taken it to pet stores and had my dog trainer try and fit it properly and all have said it is just a defected item and can't be used as is not fit for purpose. Not happy as spent good money on this harness and I now have to look to buy another one. I'm very disappointed.

Previously had the smaller rabbitgoo no pull harness, which is excellent, but after a few years of use was looking worse for wear. Saw this and thought it would be a nice upgrade. we ordered a large as that's what our dog (Vizsla Lab mix) had for the no pull harness. It was far too big, we could have fit two of her in it. So returned for a medium, which fits well, but unfortunately the metal clips on the front make the straps far too stiff, so when she pulls they just turn and make it easier for her to pull. So unfortunately we've had to return that as well and have gone back and ordered the smaller no pull harness. (Which I would highly recommend). Overall this harness is really nicely made and I can imagine for larger dogs it works quite well.

I have a 7 month old GSD from working stock who is reactive to strangers or anything coming toward her except motor vehicles. She barks and lunges and is amazingly strong. I feel confident walking her when she is wearing this harness. The handle is useful, easy to grab quickly and secure (although not metal reinforced as stated), the front and back leash points make a world of difference meaning I am more confident she will not get away from me. Therefore she senses I'm in control and this is making training her to accept oncoming 'danger' a whole lot easier and safer for all concerned. If she outgrows the large size I bought for her I will most definitely replace it with another in the next size up. The other plus is she looks fantastic wearing it ☺️

This dog harness is an item that delivers security and comfort knowing that my dog is securely fastened, protected and easy to handle with the strong, metal lead rings. My dog is eager to put the harness on and because of this I know it brings a sense of comfort while wearing it. The construction of the harness is top notch. We use it almost daily and there has been no loose or unraveling of stitching. My dog is very muscular and strong and has not attempted to try slipping out or escaping the harness. The back of the harness has a thicker body to it. The front closures are of metal and the under belly closures are a hardened plastic. There are velcro strips on the back of the harness that have been perfect for placement of service dog identification velcro strips. There are also additional spots to connect dog ID tags, etc. This is an all around excellent product.

Had a reasonable harness for my tractor-like Australian Kelpie. It did a reasonable job but a critical part of the harness webbing began to fray and so I wanted something more robust that was not going to wear out on a similar critical point. The tactical harness looked like the right one to get; it had better quality clasps and a better design to distribute the forces around my dog rather than concentrate at a single location. There multiple adjustment points to ensure a neat comfortable fitting. The colour choices were fine. Overall this was the most suitable harness style I had considered. This proved to be exactly what was needed, it has lived up to my high expectations and my kelpie is very happy to wear this harness on our 20km walks. No chaffing, no choking, no pressure points. Now he can pull like two tractors🤭🐕‍🦺

Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden damit. Gerade die beiden Anleinmöglichkeiten helfen sehr den Hund auch bei großer Zugkraft gut unter Kontrolle halten zu können. Vorne im Brustbereich passt das Geschirr perfekt. Hinten sitzt es sehr locker, da würde ich mir wünschen, es ein wenig enger machen zu können (unser Hund ist jedoch auch sehr schlank).
