UTG 870 Optic Mount, 12 Gauge, Black

I put this on a 12ga H&R Pardner which is a Remington 870 clone, and it fit perfectly without issue. I think it's a solid unit and it looks good. The side saddle holds shells tightly. I wouldn't use it for competition, I'd want something a bit more easy to unload, but for keeping a few extra rounds on the weapon for home defense or hunting purposes (or just looking cool) it does the job. Would be nice if it had five or six slots instead of four, but not really a big deal. Have a red dot mounted on the rail that's held zero, meaning the mount has remained in place and hasn't jostled around at all. Some people believe UTG is only airsoft-quality stuff, but I'm not sure I buy that. I've got a couple of their bipods and this mount on very real weapons and all have held up to repeated shooting and done the job I've asked of them. I'm happy with it.

This is perfect on my serbu super shorty. The rail mounted easily and construction is solid.

Fits remington 12ga without modification. Says you can use iron sights and has a see through for that purpose. I find the scope mount does not see high enough above the reciever to use the iron sites.it hard to line up the rear site with front site. Mount also tends to scratch the gun. I used two sided tape to prevent the gun from being scratched.

Works well, very sturdy and well built. 40 shells of 12g buckshot didn't change the zero on the Vortex Venom I mounted on top. The shell caddy is a little tight but I'd prefer that over loose. Love it!

Easy to install and sturdy. Worth the price.

I bought this for my turkey hunting gun. It installed easily, fits well, and works well. But... But, the edge is just a bit too square. When firing 3.5" shells, the recoil drives the mount into your finger/hand. It gave a pretty good bite on my hand. It probably removed a chunk of skin about 1/2" long, 1/4" wide and 1/8" deep. Before using again, I will need to grind that edge and sand it smooth...

I bought this in good condition, so someone else ordered it and returned it. Everything was there and more. No signs of damage other than box had a tear and there were no instructions. It fit my Remington 870 SP like a glove using thin pin in front and large pin in back. I had read about damage to receiver due to rubbing, so I traced the outline of unit on gun with a pencil, removed it, then put gorilla extra tough clear tape next to the pencil marks under where the saddle would go. Slipped the saddle on, put in pins with Loctite blue, and done. Don't really think I needed the tape but it should not hurt. I did not use the shell holder due to this being my turkey gun.

I personally love this new add on for my Remington 870 wing master. It’s solid fits snug so the optic doesn’t have movement plus if the optic dies it has space underneath so you can still use the original bead sight. Shell hold can be adjusted to your preference holds 12g shell snug overall I recommend this to anyone who is looking to customize their 12g. Plus it also comes with and extra set of bolts so that is a bonus also

This mount also fits 870 20 gauges it doesn’t say that but just got own to try it and it fits great!
