2011 Mazdaspeed 3
It’s been almost 6 years (~23k miles) since I replaced my cabin filter, but that’s because I barely drive my car 4k miles/year. The installation was simple and the filter fits like the old one. I noticed an immediate improvement in the smell and air quality, which wasn’t bad to begin with. My only concern is this filter has ⅔ the pleats of the OEM filter (top of picture). I wonder if having fewer pleats is part of the reason why I didn’t notice much of an improvement in air flow, but this is only a small concern because the airflow was great before the replacement. It also makes me wonder if air flow will decrease faster over time with fewer pleats. The pleats on the new filter are thicker and more rounded than the OEM filter, so there may not be quite as much of a reduction in the total surface area. But, this is a small gripe and I can’t complain for the low cost of the filter. I would buy again, even if I have to replace it a little sooner.

Fits good, smells better!
I replaced the ancient cabin filter in a Mazda I bought to fix up. The unpleasant smell in the interior was trapped by the carbon in a few hours of HVAC use. Legitimately good filters!

Good Quality, Difficult to install
High quality, good price, and definitely improved air quality in the cabin. Will replace every 15k miles going forward to reduce strain on air conditioner system. Takes a some finesse, not too bad once you get the hang of it, but still much harder to install than other cabin filters. (Pay attention to how the original filters come out)

Fit our 2012 Mazda 3 just fine
Seemed to be a perfect fit for our 2012 Mazda 3.

Fits
Fit 2013 Mazda 3 I skyactive hatch. Easy to install. Had to make sure it was the 2 piece filter as the results show 1 and 2 piece. Just installed. We’ll see how it does. +5hp by changing, I guess.

Doesn't show air flow on top filter
As someone else mentioned the top filter doesn't have anything that's shows what direction the air flow is so I had to pretty much guess. The bottom filter did say but top did not have any sign or symbol. I used the old filter as a reference so I'm hoping that was okay. I recommend checking the direction before removing the plastic around the filters. Other than that they seemed to fit correctly and it took a bit to install but that's mostly because of the way the cabin filter area is in the car.

Works well
These are super cheap and the filtration seems on par with the OEM. Not sure the carbon adds much to an OEM filter, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Fits great on my 2010 Mazda 3. Be aware of the orientation of the filters when you take them out and don’t get too frustrated when you have to shove the two replacements up there in the right alignment. Overall recommend this to anyone looking for a good value and nice air!

These filters are perfect for a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. They are exactly the same size as the stock filters so they don't cause any noise while driving. I was worried about a potential smell (mentioned in a couple reviews) but it has been a couple of weeks and there are zero issues. Also, note that the two filters provided in this product aren't identical because of how they need to be inserted. The filter with hooks on the side is inserted first and pushed upwards so the hooks hold it up; the second filter is then inserted underneath. A word of advice to anyone not familiar with Mazda cabin air filters - watch a couple YouTube videos first. Unlike other vehicles where the filter is easily accessible through the glove box, Mazda makes you remove several panels in the passenger footwell instead. It's an awkward installation...if any friends owe you a favour, make them do it instead.

Perfect fit in my 2012 Mazda 3 sedan and less expensive than paying a mechanic to do it for you. Replacing the filters was easier and quicker than I thought. Watching a 3 minute YouTube video showed me all I needed to know. The only thing amiss and its nitpicky, the location of the filters as stated on the product box is wrong. The filters are located in the front, right side of the console, not in the glovebox. But that is a packaging issue, not a product issue.

Fits my car

Direct replacement for the awkward as all get out to get at & replace, factory units, which are a joke in themselves to replace, but no place on these could I find a directional arrow molded into the plastic, or on the filter itself, to tell me which way is in or out! Top & bottom is sort of easy, if you really look closely at the ones you pull out, & hope they're in there right as well. Getting the top one to stay put while you slip the lower into position is the trick. I was almost ready to stick a wad of gum on the top one's tabs to hold it, but managed to avoid that with some luck. Nevermind how my back felt afterwards. Need to be a contortionist to do the job without tweaking something.

Mazda engineers should be ashamed of themselves for how difficult it is to change these cabin filters. I've never spent more than 2 minutes changing cabin filters in Honda's and Hyundai's...the Mazda 3 took 45 minutes and requires the ability to contort your body into numerous pretzel shapes. Other than Mazda's engineering faux pas, the filters fit well and seem to do the job. Glad it isn't something that needs to happen weekly
