So far this is my favorite gauze I've purchased for wrapping a big leg issue, I'm sure there's better out there, but this is usable without problems. In hospital I think I was wrapped w Covidien brand kerlix guaze, which is definitely higher quality, it's less porous in its weave, but this brand isn't terrible. And it is softer than some of the others I've tried. Fyi because I didn't know, kerlix is the style of gauze, not the brand. Anyway my recommendation is get this if you need it quickly and you're on a budget. Get the Covidien brand if you can swing it. I wrap my leg then tape it all over anyway, so this kind works alright for me and isn't itchy.

These are sterile and they work great for wrapping a wound on a foot or hand!!

Enough for most wounds, soft and cozy

Great bulk pack of gauze. It is nice and very absorbent. I keep this gauze in all of my IFAKs. It is in my big Jeep first aid bag, my EDC Trauma Pack, my home first aid kit and a compact trauma kit (w/ tourniquet) that my son carries in his backpack to school. Great Kerlix

I had some blisters on my leg and needed to put a bandage and ointment on them but didn't want to put tape right on the skin. I just wrapped the gauze roll around the leg and put the tape on the gauze. Worked perfectly. Easy for me to do it myself and the price is great.

I purchased these for my MFAK & IFAK for bandaging. I work in infrastructure and laborers are always getting cuts and scrapes so I figured it was a good thing to keep around along with other items. Well I can say that I’m not a trained paramedic but I did stop a pretty bad laceration on one of my guys who sliced open his forearm. I cleaned him up, wrapped it up, taped it him up, and he worked all day with no issues. He refused to go the hospital since he didn’t need stitches and this basically stopped the bleeding. No infection either! I would recommend this product to keep with your IFAK, MFAK, or first aid kit!
