I've read others' reviews about how difficult this furniture is to assemble and am mystified why. If you can read directions, and I recommend you do read them completely before you start, you can assemble this in about an hour. The all-wood construction is a bonus compared to the particle board stuff that's out there and the finished product is very attractive. There were no blemishes on the wood and there were even extra hardware pieces included in the kit in case there might be problems. The only drawback, if there really is one, is that the amount of cardboard used in the box to protect the pieces. They filled my recycling bin. In short, I'd have no problem ordering additional products from this company.

I purchased the 60" version. Looks nice. Pretty solid with no missing parts. Only stripped one fastener. The hardware, screws, cams and posts are of poor quality. Hand tools only, or you will likely strip or break the hardware. I saw lots of poor reviews regarding broken and damaged shipments. Looking more closely they appear to be mostly for the 72" version. I certainly would not order a 72" based on those reviews. My 60" box and contents were undamaged. Kudos to the Amazon driver who thoughtfully delivered the item.....it was not light.

First of all let me say that this a quality piece. It’s solid wood, finished beautifully, comes packaged very well and I don’t believe you would get better quality if you went to a furniture store and bought a finished piece. I expect that this will last for many years.That said, there are a couple of things that people need to know before buying.1) The color of the wood may be darker than it appears on your screen. I ordered the Russet Brown and I’m not really sure if the wrong color was shipped or if it just shows differently on my computer screen but it was at least 2 shades darker than I expected. This wasn’t really an issue for me because when I was deciding what color to order I really wanted something a little darker but the next darkest shade looked nearly black so I had to decide whether to go a bit lighter than I wanted or a bit darker. I ended up with exactly what I wanted but people should be aware that the color might be off by a few shades.2) Because this is solid wood the bigger pieces (like the top) are fairly heavy. It CAN be put together by one person (I did it) but it would definitely be easier and less aggravating if you had an extra set of hands to help.3) Like I said, this CAN be put together by one person but it is NOT a quick project and you need to be good at following directions meticulously. Some experience with basic tools and building is also a plus. You will definitely need a Phillips and a Flathead screwdriver and I recommend a hammer for tapping the tips of the wood screws in to make a guide hole.I grew up around tools and construction. My dad was a self employed carpenter and we often helped him with projects. If I didn’t have that background I’m sure I would have struggled more assembling this.This comes in 28 pieces. It is put together with 95 screws and 16 cam lock sets. It took me a few hours and a LOT of patience to put this together.If you have the basic skills, patience and you’re willing to spend the time to build this then you will have a beautiful, sturdy, quality piece of furniture. But people need to be aware that this is not a simple project.Also, 1 piece of advice. When you are assembling this remember that the cam locks are really just holding the pieces in place while you screw them together. They don’t have to be really tight. Just a 1/4 - 1/2 turn is all you need. If you over tighten them you WILL break the cam lock. Luckily this does come with a bag of extra hardware in case you drop a screw and can’t find it or something and it does include 2 extra cam locks as well.

This is a horrible company and a horrible product. The internal styrofoam packing exploded all over the living room when the box was opened, the box was somewhat damaged. The pieces initially looked ok, but as it was being put together we started noticing broken pieces. Then more pieces were found to be damaged. Chunks missing out of them. Putting the piece together was an absolute nightmare and it is a complete piece of trash. A large delivery truck dropped it off, but it wasn't until we decided it needed to go back that I saw it had to be disassembled and in the original box, which wasn't going to happen because the box and packing material was a complete disaster. I immediately contacted the company and sent a number of photos and all requested and required information. I haven't heard back from them. I want a refund and I'd like Amazon to pick up the piece assembled. They can have the box and exploded styrofoam in it, but this is NOT worth the money and the company truly could careless because they haven't contacted us after filing the claim. This product was manufactured in Vietnam but the quality is excellent and I am not sure that I would get a better quality entertainment center if it was manufactured in the United States. The packing which protected the entertainment center was outstanding. I had about an 1-1/4" protection on all sides of the package that would have made it difficult to damage when it was delivered. The install instructions were idiot proof and I only needed about 5 minutes reviewing the instructions before I assembled it. The entertainment center was assembled two hours after I opened the packaging. The only complaint I have is that one door sags a little bit and the magnetic latch doesn't hold the door. I will probably need to spend an hour of time to reinstall this door so it closes properly. In general I like the exterior finishes but there are a couple of blemishes on the finishes for parts which aren't exposed to view. The wood dowel which were sent were a little too small to fit tightly in the pre-drilled holes. I had previously bought two small book cases from Vietnam and the quality for the bookcases and the entertainment center was excellent.
