I've used the scrub to exfoliate my face in my morning shower. The beads/crystals give the gel a gritty feel, which is what I want, and I like the fresh, minty smell of it. My only minor complaints would be it leaves somewhat of a greasy feel afterwards, which may be a good thing for my skin. The other is personal --- I'd rather have it in a squeeze bottle vs. fumbling with a slippery jar in a shower with no shelving.

This feels like a quality product that actually works and does what it says it does. It's worth the price and is a great product if you're trying to improve/enhance your skin regiment. The Renewing Face Scrub has a nice jelly consistency that I like. To me, it smells great and different, like an 'herbal Cola' (seems that no one mentioned this in the reviews). It is not strong and will linger lightly on skin for a bit, but after it is pleasant and clean.The product has the quality and you only need a gentle rub, since the the beads are doing well the scrubbing part, leaving with a well cleaned face.I strongly recommend this product.

This is my second purchase of this stuff, and I think it’s the best.First off, the smell is great—masculine and fresh, but definitely not in-your-face perfumey. And I am incredibly picky about scent. I usually aim for non-scented everything, but this is the exception; it smells amazing. In fact, I wish Brickell would come out with a bodywash in this scent; I'd snap it up in a second.The real kicker, though, is how my skin looks right after using it. Smooth and clear, pores clean, and extra-ready for a close shave.I also like that the jojoba beads are biodegradable, so I can feel good about not trashing the planet while scrubbing away the day’s grime. The coffee extract and pumice do their job well, leaving my skin feeling super clean. I generally use this product every other day or so, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me -- I think using this daily would be a bit much for my skin type.
