This carpet shampooer is amazing. It’s not as heavy as others and the double beater bars are a great add. The cleaning of the machine and easy & it’s nice how you can legit take everything out and clean it all. The suction of this machine in dry mode is strong!! It only took my carpets less than an hour and a half to dry! The size is good and is easy to carry. It’s easy to use as it is a smartwash machine so it dispenses the solution automatically as you push the machine and when you pull it back- it auto switches to dry as well as has a button that can make it all the way dry mode for extra dryness. I did my staircase and carpets and the pictures speak for themselves! This machine is the BOMB!! Worked awesome of my high traffic areas as well!

This is a long post but I thought it worth the time spent to tell you about this product if you've ever had pet messes. As you can probably imagine, in the weeks following TwinkleBelles' stroke, she was unable to get to her potty papers and pretty much didn't have control of her elimination. She normally is absolutely perfect about going potty on the paper. I am going to be honest in telling you that my carpet turned into a nightmare from heck. With the enormity of the ongoing Vet bills and what happened to my car at Honda there is NO WAY that I could afford to replace the carpet. Professional carpet cleaners just wanted WAY too much money. My experience with them has not always been so great anyway because they usually hook up their equipment to the outside spigot, which does not have softened water and the carpet will look clean for a couple of days and then the dirt just resurfaces again. A big giant waste of money. After researching the living crap (pun intended) out of various carpet cleaners, I found this absolutely fantastic machine and I am AMAZED at the wonderful job that it did. It took the mess out of the carpet and the carpet is nice and soft again and the stains are all gone. There was no leakage, like carpet cleaners usually have, and the carpet dried within scant hours. I waited over a week to even say anything about it or even make a review because my experience with carpet cleaners is that the stains come back. They actually have been REMOVED by this carpet cleaner and have NOT returned. They are GONE and I evidenced this by putting water on a portion of the previously very highly stained areas and sucking it up and it is clear so the stains have actually been removed. YAY! That is VERY unusual for a carpet cleaner to accomplish so this one is an absolute winner. Not only did it cost less than professional carpet cleaning but I still have the machine and it will work on upholstery and work to spot clean as well so it has already paid for itself. Well, more accurately my credit card has paid for it 😑. I have not been able to return to work because of the cancer treatment problems but at least I have a clean carpet now. 😁 Also, even though she is quite cognizant of her environment now and getting to her papers, I do not have to worry about any potential issues because it came with a 5-year warranty. YAY 🙂 I'm confident that I am not the only one that has ever had to deal with this issue so I wanted to share my finding with you in case the situation either exists in your home or happens in the future. I have had a lot of carpet cleaners before but NONE that were this efficient. It is important to note that I am NOT being commissioned or otherwise paid in any way whatsoever. I am simply trying to be a helpful PetMommy to anyone that may be experiencing trying to clean pet problems out of the carpet. BTW, I spilled her liquid iron supplement, the whole darn bottle tipped over when I was giving it to her one morning, it actually pulled that right out of the carpet in just a couple of passes after I gave up trying to scrub it out for the last few weeks manually. Iron is horrific to try to get out of carpet because it is very dark brownish red and stains horrendously. This took it right out. I used OxiClean carpet shampoo for that. Again, it has been well over a week since I used the cleaner and the stains have not returned and the carpet still feels very soft and plushy again. The purple one that I reference is the most recent model. Amazon had the best price on it at the time of my purchase and I am very pleased. I must also add that it is extremely easy to clean it. The brushes pop right off so that you can clean them easily and the compartments come out very easily. This ensures that you will be able to maintain your new cleaner quite well and is probably why Hoover is able to offer the Five-Year warranty. I am very pleased with my purchase. It has actually already paid for itself in just one use.

I've had this carpet shampooer for a few years now and it is FABULOUS and still like new after many carpet cleanings! I have pets and this cleaner doesn't disappoint. I am very impressed after previously replacing at least 4 other "Pet" shampooers of a different well-known brand. This light weight cleaner self-propels forward to wash and automatically switches to dry when pulling back to extract excess solution. This makes cleaning carpet so much easier and really pulls the dirt out. Let me say here that the extraction is comparable to a professional level, popular cleaner that can be rented at some local stores. With the drying (extraction) feature carpet dries quickly. The dry only button allows for extra extraction to further increase the speed of dry time. I love that this machine has separate tanks for clean water, shampoo solution, and dirty water. It provides just the right mix to thoroughly clean carpet. Cleaning the shampooer is easy too. Everything that needs to be cleaned is easily removed and replaced. My only tips would be to clean the shampooer after every use and never store with water and/or solution in the tanks. This is a fast and powerful machine for its small size at a great price that's easy to use.

This product is fairly reasonable for do it yourself advocates, however it truly is quite powerful for a home product. It’s also easy to operate & speedy. The motor does all the pushing, so U can work on ur carpets & rugs with little effort.

I'm very impressed with this unit. It's easy to put together out of the box. The only parts that need to be installed are those that will need to be removed for filling, emptying or cleaning after use, so by putting it together, you're learning how to use the machine. There's no mixing of solution and water. A separate container holds the cleaner. A small bottle is included and after cleaning two area rugs there is still enough left to do the same rugs again. The machine is very easy to use. You simply put the cleaner in the small container and water in the large bottom container, plug it in and turn it on. While pushing slowly ahead, water and solution goes into the rug. Pulling back sucks up the water while the rubber-like beater brushes knock dirt from the rug fibres. It's shocking to see the dirty water coming into the tank. When finished with washing, a push of the button puts the machine into the dry cycle. No water is used while the machine sucks up as much moisture as possible, leaving the rug damp. It dries quickly after that. When finished, the water tank and collection tank are emptied and rinsed clean and the beater brushes are removed and cleaned. It's a must to put the unit away clean and ready for the next use. I love my new machine and deciding to purchase it was easy. I had rented one of the steam cleaners available in some stores and found it to be very heavy and awkward and did a poor job but was expensive at half the price of purchasing my new Bissel. I knew that using the Bissel twice would be the price of a rental. Any use after that is free. Can you tell I'm VERY happy with my Bissel?? I recommend it.

BRILLIANT! My husband uses it as he enjoys using something new, hope he doesn't tire of it as I enjoy not having to do it. He says its the best carpet cleaner he has ever tried and so easy to use. The rooms smell so clean and fresh after he does them with this cleaner so I love it too. we have had carpets cleaned professionally and it takes a couple of days to dry and smells awful. The Hoover smart wash leaves the carpet clean and nearly dry, IT ALSO GETS ALL THE CATS HAIR UP. when you go forward it washes the carpet and when you pull back it dries. when finished you can put it on the dry cycle and dry it even more. HE SAYS ITS VERY EASY TO CLEAN AS WELL. As He says BRILLIANT! Lorraine Australia

Una muy buena máquina para lavar alfombras, Hoover es garantía, muy bien empacada, ya la usamos para lavar una sala y quedo muy bien, fácil de armar, buena potencia, use el shampo que viene en la caja y considero que para que quede bien la lavada hay que utilizarlo, no sabía que viene concentrado por lo que hay que diluirlo con un poco de agua, se me acabo rápido y le puse jabón de trastes, vinagra y un poco de bicarbonato pero no limpio del todo bien, así es que invertí un poco más y pedí el Galón de shampo del mismo que viene con la máquina, Recomendable.
