I used the full 9.1m length to cut a couple of overhanging branches of an oak tree that were blocking evening light to my patio. These branches were just a couple of inches thick, and at full extension it took several minutes to cut each. Not easy, but with patience no real problem. I have also cut a few lower branches, which were easier. Not that I have given only 3 stars for ease of use - that is because it is bound to be difficult to operate a saw blade on a 9.1m pole so the rating is based on the inherent difficulty of the task. However if cutting branches at height is a job that you really need to do - I recommended this product. The saw is sharp and attached easily and the extension section clamps operated both easily and effectively - so in respect of the product itself a rating of 5 stars would be deserved. I am very impressed with the design of the product to enable operation at this extreme length and light weight. Moreover - the customer service was outstanding. - There was a minor fault with the initial delivery and I was surprised at how quickly the supplier rep (Alona) responded via the messaging centre. She asked a few questions for clarification of the problem and very quickly resolved it. I could not be happier with the product and customer service.

Wow! This saved me hundreds of pounds. Such an effective bit of kit, the saw is high quality and the pole really sturdy and well manufactured. Took me no time to cut down two huge 12-14 foot branches from a sycamore tree at the very top of the pole’s reach. Surprised how good this is for the price, highly recommend to anyone that knows the pain of living next to a massive sycamore tree! Can see there is also a cleaning tool too, I probably won’t use this but good to have as a bonus.

It did what I wanted it to do, but NOT at full extension as it is quite hard to control the blade even at about 6-7 meters. 9 meters would be almost impossible!! It is dangerous to use on large high up branches, hence very heavy, i.e., 65mm (2.5") I was cutting, but because there was a large laurel tree below it to absorb its fall, I was able to bring it down safely. It is fairly strong at the shorter length (6-7 metres) and would recommend a smear of WD40 on the blade to improve cutting larger diameter branches. The pole saw also came with a window wash mop & adjustable angle bracket to attach it too, but the mop is useless as it broke on its first use!! I will definitely be using it again on other sycamore branches which will need cutting. Would recommend this item but used at the shorter length due to it being more rigid.

Read some negative reviews about this pruning pole but fortunately l was impressed with the design and l have not been disappointed. I had to get a ladder to chainsaw a very large limb of my Willow tree which was successful but the tree had numerous invasive huge clumps of Mistletoe that had built up over the years. I looked on Amazon for a good pole pruner and luckily found the Docapole which says on the product tag that it's been newly redesigned. There is definitely a method to cut high up limbs of a tree but with patience and a certain amount of strength , l managed to rid the tree of all the mistletoe ( I am a 76 year old who is determined and has time) The instructions are very good you just have to follow them and then the pole and the pruning saw come into it's own. Slow and steady and let the blade do the work of cutting which it does very well, if you go too fast you get the pole bouncing about and the blade will jump off it's cut. The Docapole is a great design with easy adjustment of the clamps (hex key provided) it's aluminium, strong and light for the length and l can use with an attachment to clean my high windows. One of my better garden Amazon purchases along with the marvellous Root Slayer shovel.

The idea its superb but I am afraid to say the product is almost useless. The thin end extension is weak and bent at first use compromising the whole thing. Secondly the screw in fixing came a way on first use-the pop rivet fixing failed. After bending the bar straight and using a screw to make the head usable I was hardly in a position to return the thing. Even if i had kept the boxing. The final moan I am afraid is the clips on the various lengths of extension don't work. Again I have managed to tighten them up but they are still shoddy. In the round a great idea but the materials are inadequate. Sorry to make a negative comment like this but I really think people need to know.

Funciona muy bien con una pértiga liviana pero resistente y la hoja de sierra debido a su forma corta con gran facilidad, me ha impresionado . Tuve un problema con la empresa de paqueteria que el fabricante soluciono inmediatamente 100% 100 recomendable

J'ai fait cet achat non sans hésitation après avoir lu les commentaires... Donc effectivement, ce n'est pas facile de couper des branches à 7m de hauteur mais on y arrive! Persévérance, méthode et patience aident beaucoup. Je ne vois pas ce qui peut être amélioré sur ce produit pour rendre la tâche plus aisée... En en plus le support client est impeccable.

El producto es tal y como indica el anuncio al tratarse de una pértiga muy larga es comprensible que tenga bastante oscilación cuando se emplea completamente desplegada.

J’ai pu scier de grosses branches très facilement à plus de 10 mètres de haut. Top.

Una pena porque no me ha servido en absoluto, después de la nevada del mes pasado se me rompieron muchas ramas en alturas de unos 8 metros, por lo que este producto parecía ideal para hacer unos simples cortes en las heridas abiertas en las ramas que quedaro colgando, sin embargo, al emplear este producto en su máxima extensión se tambalea como si fuese un flan. Nada robusto, sólo valdría para cortar hojas de los árboles o ramas muy finas.
