Affordable Tektro Quality
I recently bought a used Mongoose fat tire bike on Marketplace. I know it's not a top-of-the-line brand, but I was still surprised by some of the cheap parts on it. However, I got a great deal, which left room for upgrades. The brakes were the first to go because the bike barely stopped with the original setup.The bike came with cheap plastic brake levers that likely flexed and reduced stopping power. I knew I wanted metal brake levers, and I'm familiar with Tektro as a budget-friendly brand that doesn't compromise quality. I decided to replace the brake levers, cables, tubes, and brake pads all at the same time, and now the bike stops almost instantly. This shows that I made a good choice with these levers and the other components.Installation was super easy, and I've got no complaints. The only thing I would have liked is more color choices, like polished metal, rather than just black. Overall, if you're looking to upgrade your brakes on a budget, the Tektro RS360A brake lever set is a solid choice.

Solid Brake Levers
Very sturdy all metal lever. A lot of levers out there use plastic, which can add some flex which reduces your braking power. These levers don't flex at all, feel great and look great. Highly recommended.

Basic lever, good build quality
Nice and inexpensive replacement for V of center pull cantilever brakes. If you’re replacing brake cables, toss these on as well. Mount easily next to trigger or twist shifters.
