Great set of throwing knives and worth every penny!
After just a few hours of practice, I successfully threw all three knives and hit my target. These knives are lightweight and easy to throw. They are made of high-quality materials and come securely packaged in a durable nylon sheath that can be worn on your belt or around your leg with a Velcro attachment.

Warning: Great Knives But 2 *Different* Sets Are Being Sold Here
Just a forewarning - the $6.99 ones from Amazon are *not* the same as the $13.99 ones sold by "Sharp Knives" Needed a replacement set and got a totally different looking set of knives and a totally different sheath! I prefer the Velcro sheath so I will be returning the cheaper set. The actual "Thunderbolt" ones are great for beginners, kids or more petite women like myself. Just know that there are 2 different sellers and it's 2 different knife sets.

Oily but great
Why do knives always arrive with crud on them? These ones had, like, an oily substance on them, could be knife oil I guess, but all the knives I've purchased lately have some extra layer of something or other, so I'm not gonna single this one out with a bad review. Otherwise they're great. Nice bit of weight to them. Sharp. No problems related to the grip. Once I throw them I'll update my review, but I don't see my rating changing.

Excellent Product!
These throwing knives are very well made. The balance is just right and they are sharp! Mostly the point is sharpest but the sides are somewhat sharp also. These are great for practice and I highly recommend them. But just note that if you do use them to practice, use a soft but firm target. I find styrofoam (thick) works best.

Good setup, great knives, terrible sheath.
The knives were a bit shorter than I anticipated them being. However, for a beginner like myself, they work fantastically. There are only 2 problems I could see with this setup. One, the sheath is a piece of junk; within a few days I had a size able hole at the bottom of the sheath where the tips go. The bottom is just decimated after about 2 weeks. Also, the arm/leg bands are incredibly small. Granted I am a large man. But everyone else here seems to agree. The only other issue I have with the setup is that these knives are a pain to actually sharpen. Granted, the tips of the knives were all sharp (as throwing knives should be). But the front and back of the knives are dull and hard to sharpen. But that could just be the way throwing knives are supposed to be and thus didn't hold it against it. Overall, great for beginners. Easiest thing to do is just get a few boxes and just throw them when you want to waste a few minutes. But the moral of the story is that the sheath is flat out terrible.

Good finish. Easy to carry. Be careful throwing outside. They could get lost.

These knives are very small. Maybe three inches in total length. But they're well made and come sharp enough (though mine have blunt spots on one side of each knife). They're almost too light for throwing, but if you're using a soft target (cork board or something similar) they're good for practice throwing. For the price, they're a good purchase.

I needed to refund because I was in school res. but will be ordering these again and trying on target. They are sharp and strong to throw. They have middle thickness

There's a lot of things wrong with an $8 set of knives; the pouch/holster is a tad snug (hard to insert knives into all the way at times), the leg straps were designed for Paris Hilton's skinny legs (or possibly a child), and they don't come all that sharp. HOWEVER, the one thing I've noticed is that these knives are very well balanced and they also include a strong and pointy tip for puncturing your target. They'd be a nice gift for a niece, nephew, or whoever. Over-all, they are very good starter knives and honestly, the only real problem is their carrying pouch.
