Chopping nuts whether for cooking or other uses has never been so easy. Just turn the knob and chop.

Nuts to the birds
Have used this chopper to grind mixed nuts(walnuts, almonds, pecans and peanuts-out of the shell of course) for use in my window bird feeder. Chops nicely, creating powder, small pieces and a few larger chunks, so there is something for all the various nut-eating birds. My only complaint with this chopper is the size of the handle-it is just too small making it harder to turn. I found one with a bigger handle so will probably be using that but will keep this for back-up. If one doesn't have large quantities to grate, this would be just fine.

good solid nut chopper
Grinds nuts into smaller pieces, (not powder). We have also used it to grind graham crackers for making a graham cracker pie crust. Easy to use, Easy to clean. Top screws on securely. Lid snaps on the top. I don't think the teeth would handle anything tougher than nuts, but we got ours to chop nuts, not coffee beans. It works. I'm glad I found it.

Broke on first try with chpping nuts!
Unlike what the product info says the chopper is not designed for nuts. The blades bent on the very first try with Almonds and the item became useless...definitely not made of stainless steel as claimed. Unhappy with the purchase and do not recommend it!

Junk.cheap broke 1 st use.
Piece of junk and broke apart trying to chop almonds. What it does chop (pecans only) does so that it is crumbs and not a piece of a nut. Cheap aluminum inside grinder blades that bent. No name brand on the chopper so you do not know who makes it and it is tiny. The crank is so little you can not grasp it to cut up nuts. Manufacturer should be embarrassed for selling this piece of JunK.

Threw a few roasted unsalted almonds in to chop for a salad.....Three of the cutting teeth bent.First use.I suppose it could be okay for pecans and walnuts............not almonds.

Concept is great - durability, not so much
Love the design of this chopper. However, we have purchased two, and each one had issues with bending and breaking blades, even with soft nuts. Be careful to check chopped foods to avoid possibility of metal blade shards.

It's called a nut chopper, people. This is garbage. I tried to cut raw cashews--a softer legume/nut I can't imagine--and it broke within two minutes. When I say "broke," I mean that its blades bent and broke off. This thing is pathetic. Waste of $10 if you don't want to cut garlic or onions. God help you if you try to chop almonds with it. Sad. Waste of $10. I could have bought gourmet gummy bears.

Good while it lasted...
It chopped nuts well until the plastic top cracked--so disappointed.
