Replacement Canopy Top for Pop Up Canopy Tent (10x10, Beige)

I've had a commercial grade Ez Up for 4 or 5 years now. (Express II) after a recent church picnic I found that the fabric top had split at one corner. We were planning on a camping trip this week, and needed a replacement top fast. This top is many times better than the one my Ez Up came with. The fabric has a silvery inside, which helps reflect direct sunlight, instead of baking the inside. Since this is a commercial grade canopy, it has the single pole in the middle to support the crown of the canopy. This canopy top does even better, by having a built in pouch with a drawstring that secures the plastic pad on top of the pole exactly in the middle of the canopy top. The top has a tie down ring sewn into each corner, I always use 5 gallon buckets of sand or water to hold the canopy down, before this top, I tied ropes to the metal frame, now the top is more firmly tied down. (EzUp didn't have these) Right in the middle of each side there is a fabric flap, inside, with a long velcro loop, these keep the edges from sagging, which is where water will pool and split the top, or crush the frame. (EzUp doesn't have this either) I was afraid that the top might not fit, not only does it fit perfectly, it has better fabric and features than the original fabric top had!

Now this was my best find. A replacement canopy that fix’s just as well as the original and matches the same quality. The best choice ever. 🤙

I’ve purchased and used ABC Canopy’s frames and covers for many years. They are my first choice when needing a temporary shelter. Their canopies are durable and have always fit perfectly. The only reason I’m not rating this replacement canopy purchase 5 stars is because it is about 2 inches short of square. Regardless of how you adjust the canopy 1 corner will not fit properly down over the corner frame as it should to center the top reinforced attachment. Leaving the canopy opened for a week didn't allow it to stretch for a proper fit. It’s either off centered or one leg corner is short. Although the canopy doesn’t fit properly I’m keeping it. It meets my immediate need.

I bought this replacement top for my EZ-Up Encore II (circa 2006). As anyone with an original EZ-Up knows, the original canopy is water resistant but not water proof - they tend to leak at the seams. I bought the white version of this waterproof canopy replacement top because it lets in the most light and looks the most professional at the higher-end craft shows I do. This week I put this replacement top on my EZ-Up frame, and it really fits very well - better than the original, perhaps. There are subtle differences in how it goes on, so as to be waterproof. 1st, the top center pole slides into a pocket on the inside of the canopy (instead of going through the top). Also, there are no grommet holes for the screws in the center of each side. The 4 screws that hold the original canopy in place should be screwed back on (to hold the frame together) before you fit the new canopy on. Instead, there are velcro straps in the center of each side (where the grommet holes are on the original) that you can attach to the frame to hold it in place. All-in-all, it was a good fit on the EZ-Up frame and collapsed just fine with the frame. I have not yet tested this in wet weather. Once I do, I'll add more to this review and adjust the rating if necessary. But looking at it, the canopy replacement should be waterproof as advertised. It's thicker than the old top and a more plastic-like material with sealed seams. It also seems sturdier. I hope it saves my stuff next time I'm caught in rain. 9/14/2015 Update: I'm terribly disappointed after having used this in the rain this past weekend. We set up the canopy Friday night for a Sat & Sun show, so we had two overnights with rain and two days with off & on drizzle as a test. Both mornings it was obvious that the rain came right through the fabric - not along the seams, as it did with the original EZ-Up cover. The drops bead up on top of the material and then soak through and drip down inside. This happened on its own - we did not touch the canopy top (for fear of making it more permeable, as it can with water-resistant canvas material). Everything inside was soaked (I did have everything packed up in waterproof containers) and needed wiping down each morning. Since it was obvious Saturday morning that the canopy top is nothing close to waterproof (barely qualifies as water resistant), I knew I had to completely pack everything up for Sat night, clean up the next morning, and then set up again. Even through the day with periodic drizzle, we had drops here & there come through. 9/18/2015 Update: the seller has contacted me to make this right. They'll be sending me a replacement top, and as soon as it arrives I will test it & report back here. Points for reaching out to fix this. 10/08/2015 Update: Ok, the seller sent me a replacement fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it arrived just as I was leaving for 2 weeks, so I had no chance to test it until today. And it passed with flying colors! It looked exactly the same as the 1st, but the material felt different - it seems like the same thing but with a heavy coating of waterproofing. I may be incorrect - it may be a different material but it seems just as heavyweight & sewn with double-stitched seams just as before. Anyway, I put it on my frame, opened up the canopy & then used the hose to douse the top with water. No drops came through. I shook it & no drops fell through. I even gave it a heavy direct spraying with the hose for several minutes, and again all the water rolled off the top & nothing came through. So, I'm really happy with it again.

I’d purchased a new pop up canopy as I am a vendor for craft shows. My old one had been used by my husband for some car repair work and the cover was stained from being left outside. When I pulled it out of the box i was very surprised at the flimsy canopy cover that was included. I’ve received mailing bags that were stronger and did not want to chance my cover ripping in a strong wind. Very disappointed , I returned the whole thing. I got out my old pop-up frame, hoping to find a good replacement cover with immediate delivery, as I had a show in two days. Yes, this canopy was a little more expensive than some, but if I’ve learned anything on Amazon it’s that you get what you pay for. I was pleased when I opened the package and saw the heavy fabric. When I got it onto my canopy frame ( King Canopy brand ) I was delighted. It was a perfect fit, had generous lengths of Velcro to attach the cover to the frame and also has the loop side of Velcro sewn all around the inside edges to attach/remove side panels quickly and easily. It performed well for my show and my old pop up looked fresh and new!

In my opinion the most important thing in selling these items is "Will it fit my frame?". It did The second most important part is durability. I have yet to use it for any length of time but it seems to be. Satisfied with the purchase price

Diese Qualität ist sowas von schlecht. Für diesen Preis einfach nicht akzeptabel. Im Neuzustand gibt es schon kleine Löcher und die Nähte oben an der Haube gehen schon auf.Das so ein Artikel das Werk verlässt und an den Kunden geschickt wird ist eine Frechheit. Ich kann garnicht soviel negatives schreiben, diese Haube ist nicht das kaufen wert.

This was purchased as a replacement canopy for our 3m X 4.5m ABCCanopy which came a cropper in a sudden 40MPH storm last year. The old canopy was a perfect fit and was able to shed rainfall etc and deal with 30MPH winds with no issues. Finding a replacement canopy was no easy task as the ABCCanopy UK branch seems to have closed down for some reason. Having finally tracked down a very limited (in color) supply of replacement canopies via the US site, we ordered one. Having now fitted the official ABCCanopy to the frame, we have now discovered that the replacement cover is at least 7cm too big. This means that the canopy isn't taunt on the frame and the concern is that as soon as there is significant rain and winds, the canopy will sag or billow in the winds even though its held by guy-ropes. In this case, it will render the canopy unusable and shorten its shelf life. This isn't a cheap item but it looks as though the normal high quality control that ABCCanopy are renown for has slipped in this case. Trying to contact the company has been unfruitful to date. As such, I feel unable to recommend this once first class company and its products.
