Braun Blade Insert

This was a perfect replacement part for my Braun emersion blender for the small jar. I bought this so I wouldn't be tempted to buy a whole new set up because the plastic holding the blade was cracked. This blender is over 10 years old and still works great. It came fast and fit perfectly.

This is the exact replacement blade for Braun model 4185. Very happy to find the exact replacement blade. I have had this hand held Braun blender for many many years and it is still going strong. The shaft on this blade is 4 inches tall. This blade fits the bowl that is 4 1/8 inches tall. Note: Braun makes a shorter bowl and a shorter shaft blade, be sure that you order the correct size blade shaft for the correct height of bowl.

I needed this to fit my older model Braun immersion blender. I like it and really didn't want to buy a new one so I was really glad I found this. My original one got ruined so don't try this yourself: My husband is building an oak cabinet and needed some fine oak powder to mix with some wood glue to fill in some small voids. I had ground oats and carrots many times so I thought I'd take some oak saw dust and grind it into a powder. Long story short...it ruined this item and the bowl. Lesson learned.

it doesn't fit ! it is slightly longer!!!!

unfortunately it was a bit too tall for my appliance, so I'm returning it.

This is a good enough blade for chopping up some fresh herbs or a simple puree on some cat food but I wish the blades were longer and sharper.

I've heard these come in two sizes and that you need to be careful to get the right one, but this one fit our Braun chopper that came as a hand blender accessory perfectly. The design around the base of the blade is actually better than the original.

Unlike the original blade, this one rusts after washing it in the dishwasher.
