2015 release from Spanish singing legend Julio Iglesias, an album of songs inspired by Mexico. The album is his first studio work since 2006's Romantic Classics, in which he interpreted well-known English-language songs, and his first in Spanish since 2003's Divorcio. Iglesias said that the album features 12 songs with a Mexican flavor and pay tribute to the country's great songwriters. His interpretations have a 21st century sound on the album.

Julio Iglesias is one of the best singers in the world.

Something a little different
I don't purchase a lot of Julio Iglesias CDs because they very often turn out to contain songs that appear on the several CDs I already own. Not this CD. This is a lovely collection of Mexican songs - some familiar, some not so much. Julio sounds great, the instrumentation is fabulous and the result is a completely enjoyable CD.

Romantic mexican music
I am replacing my vinyl record which I have not been able to hear for years. Great music, great singer even if he does pronounce the words with the spanish "th" sound.

Nice renditions of classic Mexican songs
Julio has a truly excellent voice and does a wonderful job with these songs. The arrangements are also very nice. The reasons I gave this CD 4 stars instead of 5 are as follows... 1. The digital remastering is good but not great. 2. Julio is singing Mexican songs with a Castilian accent. 3. The photo of Julio on the front of the album shows him wearing a shirt that says Puerto Rico. 4. The lyrics to the songs are not included in the CD insert... and 5. Some of my favourite Mexican songs are not included on this album... songs like Las Mananitas, La Bamba, Cielito Lindo Como Te Quiero, Volver Volver, and De Colores to name just a few. Of course, it could be that Julio and his producer had decided that these songs had been oversung and thus chose somewhat lesser known Mexican songs for this album.

Great CD
Bought this for my mom, as she previously had this on vinyl. Nice bunch of recordings by Julio. His voice is so nice. Nice set of songs.

Another hit! Thoroughly enjoyable. Hasn't lost that wonderful voice! So happy I bought it, wish he would bring another album out!

Not a new CD
I paid $15.22 for a CD I thought was new, but when it arrived I discovered it was a used CD. I would not have paid this amount for a used CD.

Wonderful Album
Another wonderful album from Julio, my Favourite track at the moment is Sway but love it all. I was lucky enough to see Julio in concert last year, in the company of two of my daughters, he still puts on the best concerts in the world, his voice and legendary charisma and carried the whole audience with him which I was pleased to note had contained fans of all ages. Much anticipated album doesn't disappoint.
