This old man LOVES IT
This board is awesome! After tightening up the trucks a bit it glides and carves like a dream. It is super stable with just the right amount of flex. It handles my 240lb fat posterior with no complaints and I find myself leaning deep in hard turns and the board responds instantly to slightest of commands. I have to yell at my daughters to stop hogging my board as they prefer mine to their penny boards. I am worried though... I find myself acting 30 years younger on this thing and it's only a matter of time before my overconfidence has me calling out "Kids... I've fallen and I can't get up!!!"It will be worth every embarrassing re-telling at work :)

Please heed my warning
I purchased this board on 6/3/18When I first received it I had an issue with getting the wheels and bearings off of the trucks. So I deployed tools to try and remove them, so I could replace the bearings with Reds, but in the end was only able to get 3 of the 4 wheels off. The one that stayed was the right side of the front trunk. I wrote quite a review for Magneto and returned that board. And to my surprise magneto actually reached out to me! And said they wanted to send me a new board on them! When I received the replacement board with the same problem describe above. I contacted magneto and they sent me one replacement truck and now the board works as it should. But I’ve still gone ahead and replaced the bearings with reds, and the bushings and wheels with orangutans. Now the board carves like a dream and looks even better! But it costs $130 for the board and $95 for the Reds and Orangutans to get to this point. The problem is while this product looks awesome. And that is exact the reason I was so eager to receive it. Other than the deck this board uses low quality parts. The bearings do not roll like skate bearings, the wheels are of Moderat quality, the bushings lack control and squeak a lot, but most frustrating! Some of the trucks were made to the wrong specifications. Making it impossible for you to remove the wheels and bearings. Particularly the right side on the front truck! It’s slightly cone shaped so you can put the bearings on but you can’t take them off.But on the other hand magneto seems to stand by their products and so far the communications I have had with magneto and their customer service is top notch! And what I would expect from a company like Apple or Keurig. Not a skateboard company, I thought all company’s had given up on their customers. But I guess not magneto! And if you’ve made it this far and still want the board I say “JUST DO IT” that deck is worth the potential problems and even if they do occur Magneto will be there to help you resolve it.I just suggest trying to remove the wheels once you get it to ensure your board is not affected by this problem too.

The Tesla Downhill Longboard by Magneto is perfect
PROS: The riding is so smooth and it comes ready to ride right out of the box. What I love about this board is that it is high off the ground due to the risers they put in with the trucks of the board and how quickly it can cut and carve around things. It is also super steady when pushing off the ground and it is great for both bombing hills or just cruising around. The length and design of the board are also very nice because its not too short nor too long and its deck is stable while riding downhill.CONS: There was only one minor dent in the tip of the board when it arrived to my house due to shipping and handling but it wasn't a big deal since I figured I was gonna put some more dents and scratches on it eventually anyways. Another thing is that the wheels and bearings don't roll for very long so you might have to loosen up your wheels or change your bearings for more riding and less pushing. Last thing is that this board can cut and carve super fast and easily if you have the trucks loosened up but if you are planning on going downhill please tighten the trucks to make it more stable or else you will wreck like I did.

Good for a beginner
I'm new to skating, specifically cruising and I gotta say this board was easy for me to ride. I started off with a 27.5'' mini cruiser and found it to be to small. i'm a 6ft 190lbs man so I needed something bigger and wider so I can feel more stable. I ordered the 38'' by 9'' magneto board and it was perfect. The Magneto packaging is good, nice and compact, and the board is pretty much ready for use right out the box. I did listen to a couple of reviews about checking all the bolts to make sure nothing is loose and had to tighten the trucks a little and the bushings (optional depending on how tight you like them). Other than that, the board is nice and easy to ride. PS: The quality of the bearings and wheels seem fine to me but I am a beginner and this is my first longboard so I don't really have much to compare.Update: 9/27/18So i've had this board for about 2 weeks now and I learned a lot since then. I bought some new bearings (heady shake) and right away felt the difference. I also bought new wheels (bigfoot mountain cruisers) which are bigger and harder (76mm, 80a verses the stock 70mm, 78a) and it made the board faster and smoother. Now I can comfortably say that the stock bearings are decent and worth upgrading considering they're cheap to buy. As for the wheels, if you want to ride faster, i'd recommend buying some bigger wheels that are a little harder. Still don't know enough to have a firm opinion about the trucks/bushings but they seem good to me.
