I love that the heat comes out of the stove in the front, our old one the heat came out on top, which meant it went right to the ceiling. We use this stove in our cedar porch. So cozy

Very impressed with this heater/fireplace. I needed a unit to set on my raised fireplace hearth and this model was one of a very few that would fit. It has a shallow depth. Was easy to assemble and setup. Out of the box it supports LP, but if needed, a very simple adjustment will change it to NG.I ran it on high for a long time to see how hot the cabinet would get. Of coarse the front glass guard is always very hot but the sides and back were cool enough to touch. The top would get medium warm if it ran continuously. You would not want to set anything on top unless you wanted it warm.The control panel is on the bottom and covered with a door that is held in place magnetically. The igniter requires a battery to be installed and it was supplied. I expected it to smell up the place on the first burn but it didn't. Very pleased with the operation of the thermostat control.Over all I am pleased.

I purchased this stove when my furnace went out and I was skeptical at first that it would keep my house good and warm but I have been very pleased with it. It looks so nice in my living room and I love being able to warm up to the heat like I used to do with our fire place when I was a kid. The only draw back is to turn the temperature up or down it is so low, and I knew that when I purchased the stove but .......Still not a deal breaker but might not be the best purchase for and older person. I am going to build a hearth for it to sit on and that should help a little plus make it look even more realistic. I have been enjoying the purchase!

Heats very well even without a fan. Will be great for power outages. Easy to install. The only negative thing to say is it's not very stylish. It's just a black square box

This fireplace is nice. I was told you cant run them on a 20lb tank but you can. My house is about 1400 square feet and on its lowest setting it keeps the house about 70 when its 20 outside. You will want to get a 100lb tank though. You will get a little more than 24 hours on a 20lb and the price to exchange them is crazy compared to just getting 100lb or bigger tank,it is much cheaper to go that route. But if your just using it as supplement heat you can run it on a 20lb. Get a 2 stage 11" we regulator.

My son lives in an apartment on our property, he felt like his heater just like this one was not working properly, so therefore ordered one. Well it turned out he was out of propane and didn't need a stove at all.

Real review here , I have installed a few different ventless gas stoves in different houses I have had and I have a 3 k Napoleon on my main floor and I have this comfort glow downstairs in an area about 700 sq , this stove is well made and very powerful, I like it better then the Napoleon, well worth the $450 , the blower is good to but make sure the blower is off it will make a buzz noise if it’s turned to far off , it’s a very good set up for the money .
