I recently installed the LucaSng Tilt/Trim Sender Limit Kit on my outboard motor, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Works good after a few months

Looks and fits together exactly as oem. Works but i too have a bouncing needle when trimming up and down. The limit switch was not even used as mine has no issues. Great seal and high quality plastic. Easy to swap internals.

Product is good quality. My trim up switch quit working and had to use the trailer button to trim the outdrive up. This new trim limit switch fixed that problem, and the trim sender fixed the trim gauge not working.

Got these because the wiring on my OEM trim senders was too corroded to repair. After a couple hours of swapping both sides out with this kit, I did a quick test which seemed fine and then put my boat away until it was time to take it out again. Once I got my boat in the water again, got the trim down, and got going the trim gauge began swinging erratically whenever I’d go to adjust the trim. Just like someone else mentioned, the rheostats inside the senders must not be set right or something. Unfortunately I did not keep my OEM ones, which I’m now kicking myself in the ass for. Definitely keep your old ones if the internals are ok and replace the rheostats in these aftermarket senders with your OEM ones. I just get to deal with it now until I decide to replace them again. Also, my trim up switch only works sometimes now after installing these. I can use the trailer button to trim up but it’s just one more thing that seems to be wrong with using this kit. All in all, I can get by with it, but this is definitely no where near the quality of OEM.

Worked as it should..

Great for the price. Pretty much sell them on all our customers boats. Never an issue- its not like the OEM ones dont corrode and fall apart so who cares its out of the sun and not a critical part..

Changing these sending units is not a job for the faint of heart. Miserable at best. The sending units are easy to adjust but be sure you have a gauge that works first off. Another thing is that the wires are very flimsy so recommended putting some sort of protection on them outside the boat. Overall seems to work okay and the price was reasonable.

Installed and trim sender didn't work. Could not adjust. No indication from full down to about one third up. Then needle is very jumpy. Waste of time and money. Can't return now. I will bite the bullet and go with OEM whenever I decide I really need a trim gauge and want to pay that ridiculous amount of money Mercury is charging.
