Kohler K-8624-0 Kitchen Pot and Pan Dish Scraper, Silicone and Nylon, Heat Resistant, One Size, White and Charcoal

After we bought a great new Kitchenaid dishwasher, the owners' manual recommends just scraping the dishes off --- but not rinsing them -- before putting them in the dishwasher. We bought this little scraper -- rigid on one side, flexible on the other; and it works like a dream for fast easy loading of the dishwasher. The scraping keeps the dishwasher filter/grinder from being overworked; and it takes over after that. Everything still comes out spotless.

It's been 2 years since I bought this and I can tell you for sure, this little thing scrapes everything really well. I use it on my cold pans, hot pans, and even my counter tops. (Yeah, were that messy) It has a dual edge, but honestly, they seem to scrape about the same, but I guess the sides are better for certain types of surfaces. The size is a little small, but effective enough, because you dont need much pressure. I like how easy to clean it is and the hook is nice for mounting on the inside of the door, under my sink. Will buy again if/when this one ever gets worn out.

This thing really gets the job done. I love that it has two sides for different uses. The plastic hasn’t gotten dented or chewed up at all and I’ve had it for a while which is a huge plus. Really stands up to use. It does a great job getting off things that are really stuck on and the size shape and material makes it easy for me to get a good grip while using it. Great value and would purchase again or event gift to a loved one

I don’t use this for cleaning my dishes. I use it for my baking. This works perfectly for scraping the batter out of my kitchen aid bowl. I make a lot of zucchini bread (so far I have made 160 loaves this summer) this helps to get the dough out into the pans. The more I get out the easier the cleanup. I’m sure it would work for cleaning too.

I've used cast iron for something like 20 years now, and I feel like a royal idiot for not having found something like this sooner. No matter how careful I am some foods do leave bits that want to stick on (eggs are the worst!) and this little gadget beats the pants off using a spatula to scrape stuck-on food away. Since I've started using it, I've noticed that the pan in the general, and the seasoning specifically, stays in much better shape. I know there are lots of different scrapers and I suppose there's not a lot to differentiate them, but I REALLY like that this one has both the soft silicone and the harder nylon; they both come in handy. The shape of corners isn't necessarily a perfect fit to the pan -- how could it be, with so many different pan shapes to accommodate -- but it's close enough and easy to work with.

I love this little thing! No more scraping away at grime in a pan or pot with a rag or a sponge -- or my fingernails! the rubber side does great at collecting oils, and the plastic edge does great for caked-on bits that are clinging to my dishes. Also great for getting the remnant batters, sauces, and mixes while putting together a recipe. It is a simple thing. But I never thought it would be such an essential tool to have on hand when I'm in the kitchen.

We use this often to clean out rice or oatmeal from cooking pots. When using a skillet with a sauce it really helps with the clean up. Easy to rinse off and no gummy mess in the scrubber. Love it.

Arrived drenched in a chemical perfume stench. After a month of attempting to remove the smell via different methods - sunlight, boiling in water, storing in a bag with activated charcoal - I have been unable to remove the smell.
