This is my second time ordering these labels because we use them on all the kids clothes/gear for school and sports. Haven’t lost an item yet that didn’t get returned because of these labels. Hold up well through numerous washes when used with a sharpie. These suckers stick to all sorts of clothes and shoes and sports gear without peeling off regardless of water, mud and abuse. Does tend to leave more residue when on a canvas material bag. They have lasted through soccer and hockey seasons so durability not an issue at all. Absolutely a must for sports gear and if you have elementary school age kids and need to keep track of jackets and everything else.

I have purchased multiple packs of these now and they work great. They do eventually start to fade but they last long enough in my opinion. also easy to remove!

They adhere like magic to clothing. I’ll have to see once things get washed if they stay on fine. I didn’t give a 5th star only because I wish the product description had given what the various size of the stickers were.

Have purchased this product before and love them. Great for labelling clothes and other items. Once you place it you don't have to worry about the label coming off easier. Only concern is how the labels will come off the sheet and attach to other labels, etc if not careful. Does not come off when washed. However, the product is topnotch.

Easy to apply and actually stay on fabric after washing and drying! Easy to write on! Nice array of sizes!Used them for my aunt while she rehabilitated in nursing home from broken hip!

I bought these last year (the Martha Stewart version, also made by Avery) and just re-purchased them to label my son's bigger school uniforms. I really do think they work well, and 9 times out of 10 they last, wash after wash. I've had a few labels come off, but if you consider how many times I've machine-washed clothes with these labels over 10 months, as well as my younger son's "nap bag" items from his day care for the past 12 months, having three or four fall off is a very high success rate! The only downside is that they do leave residue on the rare occasion that the label comes off, but because I put a new label over where the old one is, it's not a big deal. On the oldest labels, the ink is a little faded, but nothing close to unreadable. I just use a regular black Sharpie (let the ink dry for a minute). I also don't put the labels on clothing and then wash. I wash first, then add the label so that they can sit for a while and adhere properly before being worn or washed. I actually like these labels as compared to the Martha Stewart ones I bought last year because they come in multiple shapes and sizes. Some might find that annoying, but I like the small oval ones for t-shirts because they fit nicely on the tag and don't need to stick to the shirt itself (an issue because the label shows through the back of the cheapie white gym uniform t-shirts they have to wear). Otherwise I don't have a preference for the size/shape of the labels. I thought the two huge rectangular ones on each sheet were a extraneous, but I figure some people might have a good use for those, and I just cut them into quarters and used them that way. On the next sheet, I'll probably cut them even smaller (probably into 9 rectangles) because 1/4 of one of those was even a little large for our labeling needs. Overall, these labels stay on 99% of the time and are still readable after many, many washes when used with a black Sharpie (regular, not laundry Sharpie). Compared to items on which I've written our last name with a laundry Sharpie, these labels last longer. On most clothing items, the laundry Sharpie does eventually fade to the point that it's not easily readable and needs to be traced over, so these labels are the perfect option, especially because I find writing on clothes with a laundry pen/marker to be a little difficult.
