Geez brought this a couple years ago still works great

Ive now own this for quite some time. We use it in our bathroom as there is only one plug in there. It's rather bulky, but it works great. Out bathroom collects alot of moisture and its never affected this one bit.

Usually not much thought goes into buying plugs, outlets, etc., however considering it's your primary defense or "protection" from a surge or surges (in bad electrical areas) ruining thousands of dollars in electronics maybe there should be. Philips, a well-known, higher quality brand with deep history, should be a fine choice for surge protection & outlet extension. Upon set-up or plug-in it seems to be working as it should, with all connected items running & the surge protection light coming on instantly. Only time shall tell, however I can already state that I LOVE not having a cord to hide, deal with while cleaning or any strip of outlets on the floor. Hopefully this simple unit provides the same quality protection as those more cumbersome units do. Also, I'm a big fan of the color options, as I'll opt for black on most home items over other color options & the price ($8) was certainly a fair one, if not lower than I expected. The only not a negative, but curiousity I do have (other than protection ability) is in the design shape, as it is kind of an awkward one unless you are putting two more outlet spots on each side, as the unit sticks out far enough to have added those or certainly USB-type attachments. I'm sure it is an option in those other units for an addidional cost so maybe the designer/factory just decided on a single frame molding for what will eventually be multiple variations of surve-protection, outlet-extender units.

I purchased two of these & they work perfectly. I wish the plugs were spaced out a bit more for bulkier adapters & plugs. For example, Alexa adapter or blow dryer plugs that are wider. But other than that these are great & worth the buy. Happy with them & they came fast. 😊

I wanted a compact, easy to use and install surge protector. I have Phillips brand surge protectors that are the long corded one, but for a bedroom, I wanted something compact and wireless. At this price, this was a steal.

Si van a usar cargadores anchos o adaptadores muy voluminosos, les recomiendo comprar otro tipo de multi contacto que te permita tener esos cargadores sin estorbar otro slot. El problema es que los slots para conectar los cargadores es muy Justo que vuelves a utilizar solo 4 de 6 o hasta menos justamente por el ancho de los cargadores, por ej. el de una Alexa es muy estorboso.

He comprado el multicontacto sabiendo de antemano que el diseño no es el óptimo para colocar 6 clavijas pues todas ellas entradas son demasiado cercanas. Tendiendo lo anterior en cuenta he comprado el accesorio para conectar 3-4 dispositivos.

Es el segundo que compro. Muy buena calidad

Debes asegurarte la posición de tu enchufe actual y que a la vez tenga doble enchufe para anclar esta compra, de lo contrario por el peso se terminará desconectando, en mi caso no tuve estos cuidados y no me funcionaron, tuve que comprar otros qué a la larga fueron más estéticos y funcionales.
