A good investment
In my opinion this is the best reference book for machinists. It covers everything that I have or will have encountered. Everything is easy to find, It has already saved me a lot of time and money especially when buying cutters and spending time working out the maths.

Useful machining info
If your looking at this book at this price chances are you’ve already heard how good it is or are replacing an older edition. There’s an insane amount of information in it. I doubt I’ll ever even use 10% of it

Buy the LARGE VERSION
This is the bible for machinery. You can find anything including all mathematics required up to specifications of different metals. If you have it forget any other book. If you decide to buy it order the large printed version. The small version is difficult to read it if you are older than 40 years old.

Very useful reference book
Bought for engineer as it was top of his 'want' list. Small size makes it easy to take in hand luggage when travelling.

Finally, enlightenment.
A valuable desk reference. I don't know how I got by without it. The indexing is helpful and the sections are laid out intuitively. The diagrams are clear and the formulas well noted. I wish I had the time to read it cover to cover. I prefer this to reading fiction.

Interesting stuff
The book covers a massive range of topics very interesting. Paper quality is poor like single ply, but huge book so I guess this is a trade off.

Not quite as handy as the toolbox version, but when the years pile on, this version is readable.

Prachtig nuttig boek; veel tabellen zijn wel in inches en moet je dus omrekenen. Ook zijn de letters vrij klein. Maar een bijbel is het zeker, 3000 pagina's naslagwerk.
