The first one they sent didn't work. I asked to return it and they immediately sent out another that worked just fine.We were attaching the lights to painted cardboard for a set piece. not sure that's the intended surface. But we had to use elmers glue to get it to stay.

Easy to install, easy to work. I put these lights under a lift bed for kids. Looks very cool!!

I’m really impressed with many things on this kit. The stick-up tape works really well, the colors are vibrant, brighter than expected (and can dim) and the remote works surprisingly well. If you’re having trouble - remember it’s an IR remote and try taking it out of the plastic sleeve for better results.I didn’t like how fragile the connections seemed and that the remote functions aren’t very intuitive (other than basic off/on, dimming, color select).

I've only had this a few days but already LOVE it. I got it to put behind our TV and wanted the red glow for Christmas. I bought it because a You Tuber recommended it. I would never have bought it otherwise because the components look intimidating to me. When I got it and opened it, I though I'd made a mistake. I didn't think I would know how to install it. But it was SO easy. You just unwind it from the wheel it comes on, connect the strip to the power source (common sense), remove the tape backing as you are applying it, press down firmly, and turn it on with the remote. My only gripe is the directions but I easily found information on You Tube about how to install the strip then how to use the remote. I seriously just sit on my couch and stare at the light. It's so calming. The remote lets you change the lights in a lot of different ways (fast, slow, solid color, strobe effect, etc.) Now I want to put these lights on everything around our house...under the kitchen cabinets, in my husband's bobblehead cases, etc. I will update if I have any issues, but I'm loving it as of now.

I bought four sets of these lights. I hung two strands in each of my kids' rooms. Within a day they started falling off of the walls. Tonight (one week after they were hung up) I went into my 10 year old sons bedroom (he was in bed asleep) and smelled burning plastic. I noticed that the lights were not on anymore. I immediately unplugged them and found that the adapter piece had melted! Thank God I had plugged these lights into a surge protector strip and it had tripped, shutting off the power to the lights. If not, there would have been a fire in my sons room with him in it. I have attached photos of the melted piece and of what the adapter should look like when it doesn't catch on fire. I have notified the seller. Yes, I want my money back but more than that I want people to be aware of these lights. They are NOT SAFE and should not be for sale on Amazon. DON'T BUY THESE!!!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Lights are very nice, colors are vivid. Easy set up. You have to make sure you push the connector in hard when setting it up or the lights do not work right. Only other downfall is I wish it had more connectors to cut it.

These are really cool. They can be whatever color you want . Perfect for our talk ledges in our condo . Work great.
